Big News!
Here we are, the Scranton Cultural Center as we gear up for another edition of WBSW Live! Malcolm Gould here, and we've got some new stuff in store, including the arrivals of Judas Fraggle and Hale Collins! Got a very excited crowd here tonight, and Alex Morgan is in the center of the ring for tonight's big announcements!
Morgan
Hello everybody, and welcome to WBSW Live! Big future for us, and it starts tonight!
The crowd is loud tonight. They love us here!
Morgan
We are in the midst of talking with MyNetwork TV about a deal, where we will be like a more prestigious promotion! We also have a lot going on, including moving from every other week to a weekly program, and stay tuned for our big Pennsylvania tour!
Pennsylvania Tour? What is he talking about?
Over the next couple weeks, we will be welcoming in the college students in Wilkes Barre at King's College and in Scranton at Marywood University the following week.
The following week will be held at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes Barre, and we hope to hold a capacity crowd!
The crowd cheers again, and from the looks of them, I'm willing to bet that at least a third of them are college kids themselves.
Morgan
And before the end of the month, I guarantee you that somebody will have this!
Morgan gets down on one knee to retrieve the bag that he's got with him, and pulls out an overly large Championship Belt.
Morgan
This right here is the WBSW championship! In less than thirty days, we will crown our first champion in a stepping stone toward world prestige!
He puts the belt over his shoulder and keeps on talking.
Morgan
And now back to the tour. After our last show this month, we will be touring the entire state of Pennsylvania, from Wilkes-Barre all the way to Pittsburgh!
We're touring the state! Awesome! I bet the locker room is excited, too!
Morgan
This tour will conclude with us wrestling our first Super Card in the arena that we will be, in a way returning to home, as we land back at the Mohegan Sun Arena!
We have a home! This is a good night.
Morgan
And lastly, I would like to say that I apologize for taking up so much of your time, I will be cutting my appearances back to the vitals, and without further ado, this is WBSW Live!
Morgan hops out of the ring and walks back to the back as we get prepared for the rest of our actual event, a few big matches and debuts scheduled for the night, let's get it on!
Ace Colt(w/ Big Dave) vs Reese Hooch(w/ Brick Turner) vs Hale Collins
"Justice" by Rev Theory plays, and Reese Hooch, Mark Lansing, and Brick Turner all look at the stage. Our opening match is about to go underway at this second edition of Live! and everybody is excited.
Ace Colt and Big Dave walk down the ramp, Colt looking angrily at the audience on his way to the ramp. Brick Turner slides out of the ring as Colt slides in. Colt and Hooch stare each other down when "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" hits, and Hale Collins appears on the stage. He looks at the crowd through his sunglasses and tosses them aside, then stares down his opposition. He stares down Ace Colt and Reese Hooch and charges down to the ring, sliding in and hopping to his feet.
Before Hale's music even stops he hits Reese Hooch with a Tornado DDT, which sets the tone for the first hunk of the match. He throws a few kicks to Colt's ribs, tossing him out of the ring right into Dave. He turns to Hooch, who charges at him, and he tosses Hooch over his head and out onto the floor over the top rope.
He stares out, almost disappointed in the opposition for the lack of a challenge, and when the whole group on the outside gets up, he throws himself out of the ring with a Crossbody Plancha that sends them all to the ground one more time.
He is the first to his feet, and he hops up onto the guardrail and sends Reese Hooch across the floor with a Hurricanrana. Ace Colt charges at an unexpecting Hale, who ducks and Colt winds up hitting Big Dave with a huge shoulder block.
Hale slides into the ring, followed by Hooch, as Dave and Ace Colt argue on the outside. Hooch and Hale just stare each other down, and Hale hops up and down for a second, eventually walking in toward Hooch and forcing a lockup.
The lockup is turned into a harsh DDT by Hale, and he gets a two count on Hooch. By now, Colt has made his way to the top rope and dives off after Hale, who moves out of the way, and Colt hits a Crossbody on Reese Hooch. Colt gets up and Hale hits him with a Bulldog and a cover for another two count.
Hale hops back up to his feet, getting ready to keep partying on! Reese comes back up behind Hale, who hits Reese in the face with a Pele Kick!
He turns around to face Colt, planting him with a DDT, and finishing this whole thing with his patented Hale Storm, covering for the three!
Hale hops to his feet and stares at the crowd. I think he might just party in the middle of the ring! He looks at his opponents, who are both downed, and as Ace Colt gets to his feet, he hits him with an uppercut, leaving the ring immediately after.
A Few Words...
The cameras go backstage into a poorly lit room where “The Very Good” David Fraggle is seen looking directly at the camera.
David Fraggle: Hello my brothers and sisters it is I “The Very Good” David Fraggle counting down the minutes until Judas Fraggle makes his WBSW in ring debut. Tonight you’re going to witness pain, suffering and torture that you my brothers and sisters have never seen before but Judas Fraggle is looking forward to delivering.
Scene fades with “The Very Good” David Fraggle laughing.
Judas Fraggle vs Michael Eros
Michael Eros enters the ring to a pouring of boos, and he hops into the ring, Mark Lansing officiating this match. The two wait in the ring when "Survive" by Lacuna Coil hits, and the lights go out. After the come back on, David Fraggle is seen at the entrance and heads toward the ring, followed by Judas Fraggle. They both walk very slowly to the ring, and Eros hops on the balls of his feet, waiting to start. David and Judas share a glance and Judas Fraggle gets up onto the apron of the ring and gets in, going to the corner opposite Eros as they stare each other down.
The bell rings and the two men circle the ring, Eros looking for first offense. He charges toward Fraggle, who just pushes him away. Eros charges again, and this is turned into a Samoan Drop from Fraggle. Fraggle gets to his feet and stares at Eros, Aphrodite pounding the mat, trying to encourage Eros.
Fraggle just stares down Eros, and Eros gets to moving around again, looking for anything that he can use. He moves in slowly, and the two men lock up. This ends with Fraggle taking several steps forward toward the corner behind Eros, and throwing him into it. He moves forward, and throws some monstrous chops to Eros' chest, the crowd counting along. After five chops, Fraggle pulls Eros to the center of the ring and throws him to the ropes, hitting him with a vicious clothesline to leave Eros flat. Fraggle covers for a two count, and when Eros gets the shoulder up, Fraggle pounds the mat in rage, causing Aphrodite to jump way back and David Fraggle to smirk.
The one sided bout goes on the same way for a few more minutes, Judas Fraggle not allowing Eros to get an offensive move in at all. He eventually lands a huge Chokeslam, garnering much love from the crowd who is just out to see blood, and still only gets a two count. He gets back up, as him and David Fraggle share a glance.
Judas looks at a flattened Michael Eros, which causes Aphrodite to hop up on the apron and cause a ruckus, and David Fraggle instinctively hops up onto the other side of the apron, hitting Eros with his red mist, and when Eros turns around, blinded, he is sent back to the mat with Fraggle's Drop, and Lansing counts to the three and the win for Judas Fraggle!
David Fraggle is now under the apron as Judas Fraggle has his arm held up, and then David Fraggle slides a table in! What is this? The table is set up, and Eros is sent through with Fraggle's Flock! He then grabs a lifeless Eros by the throat, and as Eros hits the mat, we have Mitch Thompson in the ring!
Fraggle turns around to be sucker punched, then have a few elbows thrown to the head of the monster, but in the end, all that happens is Thompson is sent onto the floor to the outside. More security comes down the ramp as Fraggle stands in the center of the ring, taking them out one by one! This man is a monster, and he needs stopped, but who can do it?
Keep Them in Check
We see Alex Morgan in his office, listening to the radio as he fills out some paperwork. There is a very loud knock at the door, and before he can even respond, Mitch Thompson charges in. Morgan looks up, almost annoyed.
Morgan
Feel free to come in...
Thompson looks at him.
Thompson
You need to keep these guys in check, Alex.
Morgan
Is there a problem?
Thompson
You can't just let monsters like Judas Fraggle annihilate your roster, boss. You'll have nobody left before long, and new talent will be too scared to join up. Keep these things from happening.
Morgan
Well isn't that why there is a security team?
Thompson
I don't have the security team to neutralize guys like this. They're going to want more pay when they think they're in danger.
Morgan
Nobody is in any true danger, Mr. Thompson.
Thompson
You know this?
Morgan shrugs.
Thompson
Look, we have to find a way to keep him in check.
Morgan stares at him.
Morgan
And I know just the guy who can do it. I'm giving you some tune up matches, and when you've got them, I want you to show him that he can't bully the other roster members around.
Morgan gets up and starts leaving and Thompson stares at him, not impressed with this decision.
Thompson
That's a really bad way of handling things.
Morgan walks completely out the door.
Thompson
You're a real asshole, Alex.
Thompson follows him out and shuts the door.
Invertigo vs Average Joe
Here we go, time for our Main Event of the night! The crowd is in a constant chorus of boos as "Loser" by Beck plays, and Average Joe walks down to the ring in his trademark sweats. He slides into the ring and plays to the crowd a little bit when "Beings of Light" by Alcest hits and the lights cut to black. When they come back on, still nothing. Suddenly, it's as though a smoke bomb went off on the stage, and when it clears, Invertigo stands on the stage. He walks down to the ring, and slides in, also playing to the crowd, as Eddie Higgins prepares to officiate tonight's Main Event.
Barry Lincoln, our journalist partner, is in the center of the ring, sporting a microphone.
Lincoln
Ladies and gentlemen, the following match will be tonight's main event and is scheduled for one fall! To one side, hailing from Anytown, USA... Average Joe! And to the other, from Hollywood, California... Invertigo!
The crowd boos both men, Joe more than Invertigo though, as Lincoln drops from the ring and Higgins calls for the bell.
Joe and Invertigo lock up immediately in a test of strength, which Invertigo wins. He pushes Joe right down, and takes a step back, charging forward with a vicious kick to Joe's face.
Joe falls onto his back, holding his nose and Invertigo covers, getting only a one count. Invertigo gets up, grabbing Joe by his head, and tossing him into the ropes. Joe comes back and Invertigo hits a Hurricanrana that sends Joe sliding out of the ring. Higgins immediately starts to count.
Invertigo stands in the ring, almost disappointed by the simpleness of his opponent. He walks to the ropes, and stares at Joe, who is still pulling himself to his feet. Then with a huge Plancha out of nowhere, the ten count is restarted! Both men are now on the outside, Invertigo pulling himself up first. He throws Joe into the ring, sliding in himself, as he stands, waiting for Joe to get up.
He slaps Joe in the back of the head a few times, yelling for him to get up, and when Joe does, Invertigo goes to the ropes and runs back with a huge dropkick that puts Joe flat again.
Invertigo goes to the top, and stands straight, as Joe pulls himself very slowly to his feet. When joe gets up, Invertigo hits a huge Dragonrana and gets a two count, then he gets up and kneels over Joe, pounding in the man'a skull with repeated blows to the head!
This one sided display goes on for quite some, Joe getting in the absolute minimum possible amount of offense. Some more highlights in the next few minutes include Invertigo with an elevated DDT, forcing Joe face first into the mat from the top rope. This move very well could leave Joe completely unconscious, but Invertigo stands over him, not looking to end this match that quickly!
Invertigo pulls Joe to his feet and lands a vicious uppercut that leaves Joe flat, and now I know that he isn't conscious. Invertigo takes to the top while Higgins checks for consciousness. Unreality! And a three count to end the match. Invertigo shows an evil grin, and the lights cut.
When they come back on, Invertigo stands over a lifeless Average Joe. He shakes his head at the lifeless body lying in the ring and smoke begins to pour from the mat! When it clears, Invertigo is gone! What the hell!
Eddie Higgins looks around, clearly as confused as the rest of us, but eventually shrugs it off as he calls for the medical team to help Joe up to the back. What an interesting turnout tonight...
