The show opens up with a shot of the crowd in the hall of the Ramada Inn. It's not very full tonight, but the fans are excited to be there. Everyone has been moved toward the front, leaving huge openings near the walls, and everyone is jumping around trying to get on one of the couple of cameras that are being carried around the room.
Gould: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the latest edition of NAW Meltdown! We have a short but solid card for you tonight, featuring two multi-participant matches, followed up by our newest Horizon Champion, Jason Price, facing off with Trent Brown!
Torres: That's gonna be one hell of a match, Gould, and I'm pretty stoked to see the new, REAL Trent Brown in action!
The crowd cheers again as "Eye of the Tiger" begins to boom over the speaker system. The fans already on their feet are cheering. Jason Price is seen walking towards the ring. Joann is right beside him. Jason slaps the outreach hands of the fans. The NAW Horizon Championship belt is around his waist. Jason has on blue jeans and a blue polo shirt. They make it to the ring and Jason holds the ropes separate as Joann uses the steps to enter the ring and Jason slides under the ropes. Jason is giving a microphone and he goes to the center of the ring as Joann stands on his right side. The fans quiet down and Jason raises the mic to his lips.
Jason Price: Spring Breakdown we saw a NEW NAW Champion!
The fans begins to clap.
Jason Price: I know. What the fans really want to hear is that I am the NEW NAW Horizon Champion!
The fans are all on their feet shouting and cheering for Jason Price. Joann has a smile on her face as she looks around the ring.
Jason Price: Becoming the NAW Horizon Champion is a step in the right direction. Making Jack Lockhart say “I Quit” by sending him through the commentary table with the Enforcer was in the right direction.
Jason pauses as he remembers going through the table with Jack. He shakes his head.
Jason Price: Gunner Hughes, the NAW Champion, you have what I want. You have what I need to prove that any wrestler can make it to the top without cheating.
The fans are going wild. Just by Jason mentioning about the NAW Champion.
Jason Price: Gunner Hughes you have never pinned my shoulders to the mat. I should have been the NAW Horizon Champion some time back, but because you stole a win from me, you were able to retain the title. Let's see how good you really are. The NAW Champion deserve to have an opponent that is champion material.
Jason looks around the ring and towards the back and has a smile on his face.
Jason: Could that mean Fraggle could be your opponent? How about Lance St Evans or Josh Lost. Gunner you know, the fans know that I am that opponent that is champion material. Just look at my waist.
The fans are cheering and if any was sitting down they are all standing on their feet.
Jason: Gunner, you and I inside this ring for your NAW Championship Belt. I know you can hear me Gunner. The question is will you come out and face all of these great fans of NAW or are you going to hide in the back.
He is interrupted though, by "Tom Sawyer" and the crowd cheers some more. Alex Morgan appears at one entrance, a huge smile on his face, microphone in hand.
Morgan: Jason, Jason, Jason. First of all, allow me to congratulate you on your win at Spring Breakdown. You look great in Championship gold.
Jason holds the belt up proudly, and Morgan gives him a smile and a nod, telling the crowd to continue applauding him. The crowd does, and Price lowers the belt.
Jason: Now, on to what I wanted, Mr. Morgan. I want Gunner Hughes to defend that championship.
Morgan: And Gunner will defend his championship. He will defend his championship at Heatwave in June. He will defend it against....you!
Price smiles and nods, holding Joann tight.
Morgan: Or...and there is an or here.... OR.... He will defend it against Trent Brown. Who he defends against will all depend on tonight's main event. If you win, he'll face you. If Trent wins, he'll face him. I figure that's the most fair way to do this thing, so Jason...good luck to you tonight. I'll be rooting for you.
Price scowls now as Morgan takes his leave.

A long black limo pulls up.
Gould: Jim, haven't we seen this limo before? It looks kinda familiar.
Torres: It does..wait the door opened....IT'S KEVIN HILL AGAIN!
Gould: What does he want with us do you think?
Torres: Well you heard Barry last week. We're probably gonna get sued...
Hill has security escort him through the entrance of the building, as we see one of them shut the door behind them. He orders them with four simple words: "To the ring fellas!"
We're not sure why Kevin Hill is here, yet again, but looks like he has business to take care of.
------------------------------
We come back from a short ad to see Kevin Hill standing in the center of the ring, microphone in hand.
Hill: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. It sure is great to be back here watching the NAW product.
Hill pauses for a faint applaud.
Hill: Ya know, last time I attended a live NAW event, y'all were still just budding as a promotion. Over a year has passed, and here you still stand, still putting out great show after great show.
There's a slightly larger applause as we all appreciate what a brand NAW has become.
Hill: I knew it would be what it is today. NAW did win the UWL 2012 Up and Coming Promotion award after all. Ah, UWL. It's been awhile since someone uttered those three letters out loud huh. Almost a year. And yes, THAT is why I am here. Some unfinished business between Alex Morgan and I.
The crowd listens on in confusion.
Hill: I can't feed you just yet baby birds. But soon, we will let you all know. As a matter of fact, soon means next week. You will see me again next week, as I will have a big announcement for you all, and Alex Morgan.
Kevin Hill chuckles a bit to himself as he looks around the building, almost as if he is looking at his brand new house he purchased.
Hill: See y'all then!
With that, Hill drops the mic and exits the ring, and heads to the back, again surrounded by security.
Gould: What do you think, Jim?
Torres: Yep. All of us. Losing our jobs. Morgan should start looking for something to do now...
--------------------
When we come back after another quick break, the first match is already underway. We have Lance St. Evans and Matt Ward already in the ring, both of them staring each other down, making sure the other doesn't get too eager to start going. Suddenly, "Hero" by Skillet plays, and our newest signing, Grayson King, appears at one of the entrances. He smiles for a second and runs along the aisle, sliding right into the ring. Both men go after him, and he hurries to his feet, hitting Lance with a quick takedown. He gets to his feet and Matt Ward throws a few rights at him. He starts throwing some back in quick fashion though, not to be outdone.
Gould: Grayson with some quick action here, and he looks like he knows what he's doing.
Torres: Definitely knows what he's doing, but I've seen Lance and Matt prove themselves before, so I'm skeptical.
He picks up Lance and whips him into the corner, then quickly turns his attention back to Ward, whipping him into Lance. Matt hits Lance and both men hit the mat. Grayson heads over to them, picking Matt up. He whips him into the ropes, and when Matt comes back, Grayson sends him to the mat and across the ring with a perfect Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors! He gets to his feet and holds an arm high in the air, then runs over to Lance, who is now on one knee. He hits him with a Shining Wizard that sends the crowd into an eruption.
Gould: Believe in Grayson King yet, Jim?
Torres: I dunno Gould, that was great, but he's still got a bit to prove.
Grayson picks up Matt and plants him with a DDT, but continues to roll back and turns it into a rollup pin attempt!

Grayson, from out of nowhere, connects with a Spinning Wheel Kick, and the crowd erupts for him again. He turns to see Ward, who is getting up, runs and dives out of the ring, hitting Ward and taking him down with a Suicide Dive! He gets back into the ring and goes to the corner. He holds his arms up before ascending to the top turnbuckle. He looks around and goes off, connecting with a Corkscrew Shooting Star Press!
Gould: There it is, the move that I've heard has done him some good, he calls it the Prince's Crown!
Grayson lays on the mat for a few seconds, colllecting himself, then rolls over, covering Lance!

Higgins is to his feet and he heads over to the timekeeper and yells to ring the bell.
Gould: Grayson King has won in his debut matchup!
Grayson is to his feet and he holds his arms high. As "Hero" plays and the crowd cheers, Grayson walks around the ring celebrating, and the crowd cheers for him continuously. He stands in the center of the ring, arms held high, as his music and the lights cut at the same time.
Gould: What's going on?
Torres: Looks like someone didn't pay the power bill.
The lights come back on, and the Lost Family are seen in the ring. Grayson runs at Carmesi, looking for a Clothesline, but Carmesi ducks. He turns and is met by a Big Boot from Thee Vamp. Carmesi then applies a Crim Lock, and security comes rushing out for the first time in a while, led by Mitch Thompson. Thee Vamp starts attacking guards, but Thompson goes straight for Carmesi and attempts to pry them apart. After a little time and effort, they are pulled apart, and lights black out again. When they come back on, again, the Lost Family members are now gone.
--------------------
We come back from a short video promoting Heatwave, and when we do, the four competitors, Carmesi, Christine Nash, Jack Daniels, and Josh Lost. The bell rings, and they all look at one another. Christine charges at Josh, and sends him out of the ring, and Carmesi runs at Jack Daniels. Jack looks to hit him with a Clothesline, but he ducks, bounces off the ropes, comes back and hits him with a diving crossbody. Christine and Josh are fighting their way to the back and Carmesi picks up Jack Daniels. Jack whips him to the ropes, and he comes back again with a huge diving Clothesline. They both hurry back to their feet, and Jack hits Carmesi with a few rights, forcing him into a corner. Jack looks for a boot, but Carmesi ducks and runs to the opposite corner. He watches as Jack runs at him, dropping and rolling out of the ring. Jack hits the corner full force and Carmesi pulls at his ankles, droping him onto his back.
Gould: As much as I don't like him, Carmesi has this match absolutely under control.
Torres: Sure does, that's why he's one of the best in this place.
Carmesi climbs up onto the ring apron, hops up to the top rope, springboards off and meets Jack with a dropkick. He hurries over and covers!

Jack kicks out. Carmesi hurries to his feet, stomping on Jack over and over again. We see Josh Lost heading down the ramp now, limping slightly. Christine is nowhere in sight though. Josh picks up his pace to a run, and hops up onto the apron. Carmesi turns to see hiim and hits him with a running Dropkick. Carmesi then manages to bounce on the rope, doing a perfect backflip and landing on his feet. The crowd can't help but applaud the maneuver, and when he turns to face Jack Daniels, he applies a Crim Lock!
Gould: There's the move! Second time we've seen it tonight!
Jack Daniels taps out in just a few seconds, and "Cry Little Sister" by Gerard McMann hits. Carmesi leaves the ring immediately as we cut.
--------------------
We come back from another short teaser when the camera shows Carmesí and Thee vamp walking in a corridor until they see “The Very Good” David Fraggle knocked out. They run to him.
Carmesí: David? What happened? Vamp please go find the medical staff this is an emergency.
Scene fades.
--------------------
The crowd is on their feet when we go back to the ring and see Rebecca standing in the ring with Eddie Higgins. The crowd is cheering as "Eye of the Tiger" hits. The crowd cheers louder when they see Jason Price in his gear, ready to go. He heads down the ramp slowly, stopping when he sees a young fan and he signs the fan's hat with the pen they have. He smiles as he continues heading down the aisle, holding his Horizon Championship belt high in the air, proudly. He gets into the ring and holds his belt high as he hands it to the staff member outside of the ring. He then turns to face the entrance he's expecting to see Trent come out of. Sure enough, after a few seconds, we see and hear all the sounds of Trent Brown. He heads down the ring as his music plays, alongside his wife, Kat, and they smile as they walk along the aisle. He stands at the end of the aisle, just outside of the ring and climbs up onto the apron. Jason hops up and down to get his blood flowing as we see Eddie Higgins gets ready to get in between them.
Rebecca: The following match is set for one fall, is tonight's main event, and is to name the numbe one contender for the NAW Championship at Heatwave! Introducing first, from San Diego...he is the NAW Horizon Champion.....Jason Price!
The crowd cheers as Price smiles.
Rebecca: And his opponent....from Cleveland...Trent Brown!
The crowd boos and Trent just shakes his head. Kat pounds on the mat and shouts some encouragement as the bell rings. Both guys circle the ring and lock up. Trent gets the upperhand quickly, shoving Jason back into the corner. Jason shoves back though, and Trent takes a step back. Jason runs at him and he looks for a clothesline, but Jason ducks. Jason catces himself on the ropes and Trent comes at him. Jason ducks forward and looks to dump Trent over the top rope, but Trent jumps over and lands perfectly on the ring apron. When Jason turns, Trent meets him in the gut with a knee. He then looks for a vertical Suplex to the outside, but Jason plants his feet and reverses it, sending Trent to the inside with a suplex of his own. He then goes to the corner, climbing to the secodn turnbuckle. When trent gets to his feet, Jason meets him with a dropkick from the second rope and Trent flies, Jason hurrying back to his feet.
Gould: Jason really wants this win here.
Torres: Sure does, Gould. If he wins this, he'll have an opportunity at Heatwave to become the first double champion here.
Price pulls Trent to the center of the ring, then hits an elbow drop. He covers, but Trent kicks out right away. Price picks him up and whips him into the corner. He comes at Trent in the corner, but Trent sticks a foot up and boots Price in the face. Price steps back, holding his jaw, and Trent runs at him, hitting him with a running boot this time. He shouts something at the downed Price, who rolls onto his side. Trent leans forward and starts slapping Price in the back of the head, taunting him now, and the crowd boos loudly. Kat walks around telling fans to quiet down and Trent pulls Price to his feet, grabbing him by the hair. Trent lifts Price and connects with a vertical suplex this time, and covers.

Price then knees Trent in the jaw, sending him onto his back. Price walks over to the side of Trent and stomps on his ribs a few times. As Trent starts getting up, Price pulls him the rest of the way up, pulling him to the corner and slamming his head into the turnbuckle. Trent backs away, grabbing at his forehead, and Price pulls him back, slamming his head into it again. He lifts Trent up in Powerbomb style, but Trent has his wits about him and is able to hit Price with a couple right hands and knock him back off of his feet, giving Trent the upper hand now. Trent does hit the mat hard, but he rolls onto his back and gets to his feet rather quickly. He stands over the downed Price, saying some kind of insult that we can't hear. He picks Price up and plants him with a DDT. They both lie on the mat for a few seconds, collecting themselves. Trent is to his feet first though, and he picks Price up, setting him up for his newly patented Headlock DDT! Just before he can do it though, price is able to trip him up. As Trent steps behind Price after that, Price manages to turn and connect with a spinning back fist, sending Trent right to the mat. He covers and hooks a leg.

TW--Trent gets a shoulder up. Price pounds on the mat in frustration and gets to his feet. He picks Trent up and knees him in the stomach. Price then pushes Trent's head in between his legs and looks around.
Gould: Here it is...the enforcer...
Price picks him up then and connects with the Enforcer! Price covers!
