Name: Mike Cheese
Nickname(s): The Ballet Bruiser
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 236lbs
From: Phoenix, Arizona
Theme Music: 'I'm Too Sexy' by Right Said Fred
Picture Base: Michael. C Hall
Age: Mid thirties.
Appearance: Whilst far from being a hoss, Mike is fairly well built for a wrestler who's main arsenal is speed and technical wrestling, he believes in fitness and it shows.
Gimmick: Mike is an out an proud homosexual who uses others insecurities to his advantage with over the top flamboyance (think early Goldust meets Rico towards the end of his WWE run).
Ring Attire: Mike wears a singlet that is completely black save for the upper part of his chest that is bright yellow with 'Cheese' written in italic pink across it. His elbow and knee pads are the same tone of yellow as his chest. More bizarre is the fact that Mike chooses to wear pink ballet shoes into the ring.
Alignment: Tweener - Mike will easily take his fair share of hatred from the audience because of his alternative style, but when freaking out a heel in the ring he will appeal to their humour.
Wrestling Style: Technical
Ring Entrance: Over the P.A system we hear a Little Richardesqe boom of "WATCH OUT, A CHEESE STORM ISSA BREWING!!" as the lights dim as the opening lyrics to I'm Too Sexy begin to play (I'm too sexy for my love, too sexy for my love, love love's going to leave me), suddenly disco lights fill the arena and Mike Cheese bursts out onto the ramp. He has a white rose held between his teeth and proceeds to perform a few select ballet moves for the benefit of the audience. Once his own mind tells him that the audience adores him, he begins skipping towards the ring only to stop half way and select his 'Hunk of the Week' which involves singling out a member of the audience that he deems the biggest hunk in the room (usually a fat trucker type or even an announcer in some cases) and present him with the rose. This will usually go in one of two ways, either the 'hunk of the week' will throw the rose back in Mike's face or he will accept the rose in good humour. Once the task is completed, Mike will prance towards the ring, slide in, jump to his feet and perform a picture perfect ballet spin.
Basic Moves: Sleeper, Camel Clutch, Ankle Lock, Russian Leg Sweep, Standing Dropkick, Full Nelson, Armbar, Bear-hug(not really powerful enough to execute this move properly but he just really likes hugging people).
Trademark Move: Touching Brown - Stinkface - Once his opponent is floored against the turnbuckle he flashes a big grin and charges into their face backside first.
Finisher(s): Balls on Chin - submission move: Triangle Choke
From Behind - Double Knee Backbreaker
Taunt: To get inside his opponent's head he will often give them an ass slap or jump up into their arms and planting a kiss on their cheek.
Titles Held: One time NNCR tag team champion alongside Keith 'Cannonball' Justice in the now defunct Team Amazing.
Bio: After a healthy amateur wrestling career balanced with his ballet coaching in Arizona, Mike was accepted to join GWO, a company owned by former wrestler Shannon Skanes, he was immediately teamed up with Keith Justice to form Team Amazing. Not yet out of the closet, Mike chose to remain 'the serious one' of the group and allow the high flyer that was Keith to be the voice of the team. Mike chose to come clean and admit his sexuality during the end of his GWO run, only to be met by alienation from the audience and his peers. Deciding that it was do or die, Mike decided to ramp his sexuality up to 11 and freak out the locker room with how out and proud he was. Once GWO closed it's doors, Mike moved to Seattle based company UCW where he found that his newly found status as a proud gay wrestler was causing his opponents to make mistakes because of the distraction, an element Mike embraced from then on. Once being moved to UcW's sister company NNCR, Mike and Keith quickly became tag team champions and remained with the company until it's closure a year later. Mike later joined Wyldside Wrestling as a singles competitor , a company owned by former wrestler and current respected veteran Van Wyld. He remained with the company until the day it closed. Mike has since that day remained inactive, healing old wounds... Until he saw an advertisement for NAW.
Mike's biggest trait is that he finds himself with unhealthy crushes on certain wrestlers in the locker room. So beware guys.
