The show opens with "Francois Martin" by The Tenth Stage hits the PA system David Fraggle walks out from behind the curtains. He walks to the ring and when he gets to it he slides under the bottom and stands up. He then runs to a nearby corner jumps onto it and raises his arms. He then jumps off of the corner, turns around and is handed a microphone.
David Fraggle: Hello my brothers and sisters and welcome to another edition of Meltdown. I am your General Manager “The Very Good” David Fraggle and I’ve got some good news for everybody. Alex Morgan isn’t here tonight because he’s caught up with very tense business meetings and that means that I’m running the show. With that said Hall Of Fame is in the books and that means that we now begin another year for the company. What better way to start the road to the next Hall Of Fame by making a very special announcement? I’ve heard a man called Alaric say that he wants one more match with Gunner Hughes so I say that next week he meets me in the ring and we have a very special live discussion about why he feels that he deserves that extra shot. Alaric I will see you in the ring next week. Oh wait I forgot to add that for our discussion to happen the NAW Horizon Championship cannot go into the trash. As for tonight I hope that everybody enjoys the show.
As "Francois Martin" by The Tenth Stage hits the PA system David Fraggle drops the microphone and leaves the ring.
Gould: A live discussion next week?
Moser: This could be interesting.
Torres: David Fraggle really doesn’t know what he’s doing. I want to see wrestling not talking.
Gould: But you know that a discussion like this could go to blows.
Moser: That’s very true, anything can happen in that ring at any point.
Torres: All that will do is show that David can’t run anything.
Gould: I don’t know about that but I do know that it’s time for our first match.
Thee Vamp vs Tyson Gregory
Rebecca: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from parts unknown standing at 6’3 and weighing at 270 pounds, he is one half of the NAW Tag Team champions Thee Vamp.
”As Cry Little Sister” plays on the PA system the lights go out. Thee Vamp walks out from behind the curtains and walks slowly to the ring. When he gets to the ring he slides into it and crawls to the centre of the ring as the lights go back on. He then waits on the match to start.
Gould: He looks angry.
Moser: You would look that way as well if you were facing the man who stole your property.
Torres: What Tyson Gregory did was best for business.
Rebecca: Introducing his opponent representing The Elitist from Las Vegas by way of London, England, standing at 6 foot 21 and weighing in at 205 pounds. He is The Indestructible Tyson Gregory.
The lights fade out as "Indestructible" by Disturbed starts playing throughout the arena. Red and white lights flash around the arena as a bright spotlight shines at the top of the ramp. Tyson Gregory steps out through the curtain with his head lowered and a NAW Tag team Championship around his waist. Once he raises his head the lights come back on and he makes his way to the ring, completely ignoring the fans. Once at the ring he pulls himself up on the apron and steps into the ring. He paces for a moment before settling in his corner waiting for the match to begin.
Gould: And Tyson still walks about with a title like he won it fairly.
Moser: That could change tonight.
Torres: It won’t change tonight I can promise you that.
As the bell rings Thee vamp runs to Tyson who very quickly leaves the ring. Thee Vamp leaves the ring and chases him around the ring. Tyson goes back into the ring and Thee Vamp slowly begins to enter the ring. Tyson goes for an elbow drop but vamp leaves the ring so Tyson misses. Vamp then enters the ring. Tyson stands up and looks at him. Tyson runs to the ropes and springs off of them, he then runs to Vamp and goes for a cross body but Vamp catches him and Blood Thirsts him. Tyson falls out of the ring.
Gould: Thee Vamp with the early advantage.
Moser: But can Tyson fight back?
Torres: I believe that he can.
The ref begins to count.

Gould: The ref called for the bell?
Moser: He must have seen Thee Vamp use David Fraggle’s mist attack.
Torres: That would mean Tyson wins.
Thee Vamp then grabs Tyson and sets him up for a Thee Slam. Mason battle is then seen jumping the rail and enters the ring. Vamp runs to him and gets super kicked. Mason Battle then helps Tyson up and they demand to hear an official decision.
Rebeca: Ladies and gentle here is your winner of the match as a result of a disqualification Tyson Gregory.
Tyson and Mason then pick up the stolen NAW Tag Team Championship and leave the ring celebrating the victory.
Winner: Tyson Gregory by DQ
As we come back from a commercial the camera shows the ringside table.
Gould: Welcome back to Meltdown folks it is now time for our second match tonight.
Carmesí vs Alaric Trudeau
Rebecca: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first he is one half of the NAW Tag Team Champions. Representing The Lost family from parts unknown, standing at 6’1 and weighing in at 221 pounds Carmesí.
As Cry Little Sister” plays on the PA system the lights go out. Carmesí walks out from behind the curtains and walks slowly to the ring. When he gets to the ring he slides into it and crawls to the centre of the ring as the lights go back on. He then waits on the match to start.
Gould: This man is entering his biggest match in NAW.
Moser: The question is, is he ready?
Torres: No the question is where was he when his partner needed him in that last match?
Rebecca: Introducing his opponent Standing at 6’0 and weighing at 205 pounds, he is the NAW Horizon Champion, New Orleans, LA….”The Crescent City Saint” Alaric Trudeau.
The lights darken. As the song intro begins, torches light from either side of the entrance way brighten the curtain. Alaric Trudeau's face is illuminated and the look of evil content frightens the audience. Alaric casually strolls through the curtain and down the aisle. He stops midway through to gaze upon the crowd. His piercing eyes stares into the souls of the crowd, stealing just an ounce of their happiness. Alaric turns, with his back to the ring and raising his arms from his sides. The lights slowly brighten. Alaric continues his path to the ring. He walks up the stairs and enters the ring.
Gould: Carmesí would have been preparing this match.
Moser: Just look at Alaric I see a man who believes that he should get one more shot at Gunner.
Torres: And so he should because he’s worked hard to get to where he is. As for this match I predict that it’ll be very technical, it will have big moves because that’s what they both like to do.
As the bell; rings both men walk to the centre of the ring. They both tie-up Alaric turns it into a head lock. Carmesí walks backwards and makes it to the ropes and whips Alaric to the other side. Alaric springs off of the ropes while Carmesí walks to the centre of the ring. Alaric runs to Carmesí who jumps over him and Alaric runs to the ropes. Alaric springs off of the ropes and rusn to Carmesí. Alaric for a close line but Cersei ducks it. Alaric then runs to the ropes, sprigs off of them and runs to Carmesí who spinning heel kicks him. Carmesí then stands up and grabs Alaric’s head and puts him into a sitting position. Carmesí then kicks Alaric ‘s back making him scream in pain and fall to the ground. Carmesí then goes for a pin and the ref counts.

He turns Alaric around and goes for a Crim Lock however Alaric tries to break free of it. Alaric puts his hand onto Carmesí’s mask and pulls it off forcing Carmesí to et go of the head and look around in shock. Alaric looks at the mask in his hand and then looks at Carmesí and laughs at him.
Gould: Carmesí has just been unmasked.
Moser: And Alaric is enjoying it.
Torres: Can you blame him? Ever since Carmesí was a child all he ever wanted to be was a masked wrestler and in one moment his entire life has just ended.
Alaric runs to Carmesí and goes for a closelines however Carmesí ducks it and then kicks Alaric in the gut making h drop the maskim fall and land on his knees. Carmesí then kicks Alaric in the stomach three times and then kicks him in the head. Carmesí then goes for a pin and the ref counts.

Rebecca: here is your winner Alaric Trudeau.
Gould: Alaric has won this match.
Moser: But what’s he doing with the mask?
Torres: Claiming it as a trophy. He was the one who took kit off, he was the one who beat Carmesí therefore it should now be his.
Winner: Alaric Trudeau
The camera shows unmasked Carmesí walking to a door backstage. Thee Vamp and “The Very Good” David Fraggle arrive on the scene.
Thee Vamp: Where are you going?
Carmesí: I’ve lost my title, my mask and my match. I’m gone.
Thee Vamp: But you can’t leave we need you here.
Carmesí opens the door that he’s standing at and leaves the arena. Thee vamp then looks at David Fraggle.
Thee Vamp: This is your fault. What are you going to do about this?
“The Very Good” David Fraggle: I’m going to do the right thing. First of all this is a wrestling company. Earlier tonight you faced Tyson Gregory and lost by DQ. Next week you face him again in a no DQ, no count-out and falls count anywhere match. As for Carmesí I believe that this is a cry for attention. So next week he’s going to be booked in a match against someone who I pick. You’ve got one week to find him and convince him to be here next week or else he’s fired from NAW and you’ll be facing members of The Elitist by yourself.
Scene fades.
The view cuts to the ring area where the fans are anxiously awaiting the next match. Suddenly, a shotgun blast echoes through the PA system and “Mama Said Knock You Out” by Five Finger Death Punch starts to play. After a few moments Gunner Hughes comes walking out from the back with his set of title belts, the UWL World Heavyweight Championship in his left hand and the NAW Championship in his right.
Gould: Well it’s the NAW Champion, fresh off of his title defense against Alaric Trudeau at Hall of Fame last week. I wonder what he’s got on his agenda here tonight.
Torres: He’s probably going to come out here and gloat.
After a brief moment of standing at the top of the ramp and looking through the crowd, Gunner begins to march towards the ring. He drapes the title belts over his shoulder and grabs a microphone from the timekeeper at ringside and climbs inside the ring, then once his music comes to a stop he walks out to the center and waits for the crowd to quiet.
Gunner: One week ago somebody walked out to this ring at Hall of Fame and looked me in the eyes and accused me of threatening his kingdom. He challenged me to a tables, ladders, and chairs match and proclaimed that he would defeat me and take everything I have. He said he would leave Hall of Fame as the ruler of the NAW.
He laughs as he removes the NAW Championship from his shoulder and lifts it above his head briefly.
Gunner: But as you can see…I still have my crown. Alaric Trudeau learned the same hard lesson that so many in the NAW had to learn before him, and that lesson is that if anybody is going to claim the NAW as their kingdom…
He sticks out a thumb and points it in his own chest.
Gunner: …that person is going to be me! I’ve been knocking heads together in the NAW for almost two years now and I’ve held this NAW Championship belt longer than anybody else in NAW history. And unfortunately for the rest of you stiffs on the roster I don’t plan on losing it anytime soon!
Torres: Yeah well I think there may be a roster full of NAW superstars who think otherwise.
Gould: You’ve got that right. Alaric won’t be the last to come trying to knock the big man off of his throne.
Again Gunner pauses and looks at the NAW Championship for a moment.
Gunner: But that doesn’t mean you guys aren’t going to stop coming to try to take this from me. Because you see, one of the burdens of carrying the top prize is that everybody wants what you have. Alaric Trudeau isn’t the only wrestler with me in his crosshairs. My wounds have only just begun to heal from our match at Hall of Fame but already I wonder who it’s going to be next. Which one of you is going to come and try to stake his claim to what’s mine? Is it going to be you again Alaric Trudeau? Maybe Jason Price is going to make another run now that he doesn’t have all the extra baggage holding him back? Or maybe one of these newer guys is going to step up and try to quickly propel themselves to stardom. Maybe Theodore Justice? Tyson Gregory? Mason Battle?
He smiles and replaces the title belt on his shoulder and then gets a confident look on his face as he continues.
Gunner: The fact is, it really doesn’t matter which one of you is going to step up and challenge me next because the end the result will always be the same. I am the NAW Champion and I’m going to stay that way for a very long time! And there’s not a damned thing that anybody on the NAW roster can do about it!
Atmospheric guitar chords begin playing over the speaker system which are unfamiliar to most of NAW as "Vicarious Devil" by Tool and Laura Marling kicks up.
Gould: Wait a minute, whose music is that?
Torres: I’m not sure.
Gunner glares down at the entryway as he waits to see who may be coming out to challenge him. Meanwhile, a surprising amount of the crowd is very familiar with who the music belongs to, but are in disbelief until Beck Ramsey steps out from the entrance tunnel with the UWL American Heavyweight title draped over his shoulder. It isn't only the crowd that is surprised by his appearance though because a look of shock appears on Gunner's face as he watches Ramsey make his way toward the ring clad in his one of his signature ornate coats and, of course, a pair of shades to cover his eyes up.
Gould: I can’t believe it! It’s Beck Ramsey, the UWL American Champion!
Torres: What’s he doing here?
Beck makes his way up the ring stairs and across the apron. First, he looks out toward the crowd, who give him a very mixed reaction, with a smirk on his face before stepping through the ropes. Instead of stopping to look at Gunner, he just waltzes right past the double champion and gets his own microphone from the timekeeper. Finally, the two come face-to-face. Ramsey brings the microphone up as he begins to speak.
Beck Ramsey: Hey there, champ.
First, he addresses Hughes before turning his attention for a moment to the crowd.
Beck Ramsey: I bet everyone here is wondering what the hell Beck Ramsey is doing in NAW, am I right? What business could The Sinners' Saint possibly have in this ring? Don't worry, ladies and gentlemen. If you'll bring your attention to me, I will answer all of your questions sooner rather than later. He feigns like he completely forgets that Gunner Hughes is standing right there in the ring with him then turns back to him and acts surprised.
Beck Ramsey: Oh, don't worry, Gunner. I am not here to challenge you for the NAW Championship, but it does look like you might be straining a little bit under all that gold. I know you're aware, but I don't know if the rest of NAW or the world quite understands what Beck Ramsey has to do with Gunner Hughes. Well, the answer is simple. And it's hanging right there over the shoulder opposite of the NAW Championship. I wouldn't take me as lightly as you apparently take the rest of the chumps that you hang out with on a regular basis around here. Those guys back there might be a dime-a-dozen, but I am one of a kind, and that title...
Ramsey points toward the UWL World Heavyweight Championship; of course.
Beck Ramsey: Is coming home with me come Bedlam on the Bayou. Don't worry, Gunner, the weight of two titles doesn't bother me one bit.
Gould: Whoa now, Beck Ramsey better want to watch who he talks about here tonight. He might be forgetting that he’s standing in enemy territory right now.
Torres: Please Gould, Ramsey is the UWL American Champion…I’m sure he can handle himself just fine.
Gunner takes a moment to analyze the situation; Beck Ramsey the UWL American Champion and number one contender to his UWL World Heavyweight Championship standing on his turf inside an NAW ring. He then slowly gets a smile on his face as he looks across the ring at Beck.
Gunner: Well I have to admit, when I asked who would be the next to challenge me for my title belt…the last person I expected to see walk out from the back was the UWL American Champion Beck Ramsey. But alas, here you are…standing inside my ring and talking about taking my title belt. Although, it’s not the NAW Championship you’re looking at Beck but it’s still a championship that’s just as dear to me.
Gunner removes the UWL World heavyweight Championship from his shoulder and holds it up as he turns and faces the crowd.
Gunner: At UWL’s upcoming show Bedlam on the Bayou Beck Ramsey here will be challenging me for my UWL World Heavyweight Championship. But not only will he be challenging me for my title belt, but he will also be putting his on the line as well. Champion versus champion for all of the gold! It’s shaping up to be one of the biggest matches in the history of all of our affiliated promotions.
Gould: He’s right on that point Jim, this double title match between these two undefeated UWL champions is going to be huge!
Gunner turns to face Beck, UWL Championship still in hand.
Gunner: Now, you look like a smart guy Beck and I’m sure you’ve done your homework and seen what I’ve went through in the UWL to get this this strap. I’ve beaten every single person the UWL has put in front of me and at Bedlam that’s exactly what’s going to happen again when I face you. So instead of standing out here in my ring and gawking at my title belt I suggest you get to know your own a little better because when I leave Bedlam I’m taking it with me. You can count on that champ!
As not to allow Gunner to have the last word, Beck lifts his microphone up to make a retort.
Beck Ramsey: You know, Gunner, I'm not even mad. Your tough words are nothing but just that... words because no matter how tough you try to act or how much of a big shot you think you are, hot rod, you will never amount to me and I will prove that in a couple short weeks. The way I see it, the UWL World Heavyweight title is really nothing more than a burden for you because UWL is the only place you can actually find competition that is worthy for a title shot of any kind. I mean, sh*Beep!* you call the guys that have challenged you for the NAW Championship competitors? In my world, they are nothing more than the warm-up before I step through those curtains.
NAW security starts to file out from the back and climb into the ring just as Gunner drops his mic and begins to mouth some choice words towards Beck.
Gould: Security is starting to get in between these guys, and with good cause because Gunner looks like he’s through talking.
Torres: Yeah but Beck certainly isn’t. Look at that smile on his face!
With an amused look on his face Beck continues his tirade on the NAW champ.
Beck Ramsey: Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, Gunner, don't get those panties in a bunch just yet. I'm not finished. I have one more question. Where the hell has the owner of NAW been anyway? Did he realize just how much of a sh*Beep!*hole this place was and just forget about this short bus?
Gould: Uh oh, I think Gunner’s heard enough!
Gunner charges forward and takes a swing at Beck but he ducks it and grabs for Gunner. Before any more punches can be thrown security gets in between the two men and begins to separate them. A small group holds each wrestler in opposite corners for a few seconds, but eventually they both break free and meet again in the center of the ring. They collide and fall to the mat and again NAW security breaks the two apart before much damage can be done. After a few minutes of pandemonium the security team is finally successful in keeping the two apart.
Gould: These guys don’t want to wait for Bedlam, they want to settle this right here!
Torres: They sure don’t, and I don’t know if NAW security is going to be able to stop them.
As the security continues to try to hold the two back, they both continue to jaw-jack at one another until Beck begins backing away from the security who stay very close to him even as he steps through the ropes and jumps down from the ring apron. He makes sure to reach back into the ring and grab the American Heavyweight title from the canvas before he starts to head back up the ramp when he notices that the UWL World Heavyweight title is lying carelessly on the floor. It had apparently gotten kicked out of the ring or something during the scuffle. Regardless of how it came to be outside of the ring, Beck picks it up and hoists both titles above his head by their leather straps as he backs up the ramp with a toothy grin across his features. Upon reaching the entrance stage, Beck continues to hold the titles up, posturing for the crowd and, more importantly, in front of Gunner Hughes with both belts. After a long moment, he lowers the titles and yells out back toward the ring.
Beck Ramsey: Don’t worry, Gunner. I’ll wait until Bedlam to take this from you. Until then, savor your time with it.
With that, Ramsey neatly lays the UWL World Heavyweight Championship belt across the stage so that it’s completely spanned out and on display before he slings the UWL American Heavyweight title over his shoulder and walks through the curtains toward the backstage.
Gunner remains in the ring, glaring at the entryway and finally being coaxed into calming down by security as Meltdown goes to commercial.
Mason Battle vs Jason Price
Rebecca: The following contest is scheduled for one fall.
“Eye of the Tiger” plays through the PA system.
Rebecca: Making his way to the ring from San Diego, California, standing 6' 2” and weighing 210 pounds….Jason Price!!
The fans are on their feet cheering as Jason Price walks out from the back and heads down the ramp towards the ring. He slaps the hands of the fans sitting at ringside on his way down to the ring and then stops to look at a sign being held by a young fan. He takes it from the fan and holds it up for a moment and then gives it back and continues on his way. He climbs inside the ring and he shakes the hands of the ref and then goes to his corner to await his opponent.
Gould: Well it’s good to see that Jason Price is still in decent spirits considering what he’s been through over the past few weeks. He not only lost his Horizon Championship, but he also lost his girlfriend in the process too!
Torres: Well that’s why I stay single Gould, because women are crazy.
Gould: Yeah, I’m sure that’s the reason…
Jason Price’s music comes to a stop and then “Ground Slayer” by Benea Reach begins to play.
Rebecca: And introducing his opponent, representing The Elitist from London, England…standing at 5’7 and weighing in at 188 pounds. He is “The Underground King” Mason Battle!!
The cheers quickly turn to boos as Mason walks out from the back and onto the stage, spreading his arms out and yelling. He holds the pose for a moment as the crowd boos him, then he does a little spin and begins to walk down to the ring.
Gould: Well the fans aren’t very fond of this man are they?
Torres: Yeah well I don’t think he cares too much about what the fans think, and so far that attitude has served him well here in the NAW because he’s sure made quite a statement. Jason Price has his hands full in this match.
Gould: Well for once I might have to agree with you on something partner, Jason Price certainly has his work cut out for him.
Mason gets to ringside and wipes his boots and then he slides into the ring. He walks over and leans on the ropes a bit. Mason yells out to the front row of fans that he is the “best that they never seen.” He then removes his jacket and glares across the ring at Jason Price, who is eagerly awaiting the start of the match. The music then comes to a stop and the bell sounds to kick things off. Price and Battle begin to circle and size each other up for a few moments and then they lock up. Mason takes the early advantage with a knee to Price’s midsection. He then pounds on Price’s back with a few hard forearm shots and whips him into the corner. Mason follows him in for a closeline but Price gets his boot up and kicks Mason in the face to send him staggering backward a few steps. Price then runs up and nails him with a dropkick to send him to the mat.
Gould: Nice counter by Jason Price!
Jason Price lifts Mason to his feet and works him over with a few forearm shots of his own and then he slams him to the mat with a bodyslam. He then slingshots himself off of the middle rope and comes crashing down on Mason with a legdrop. Price gets to his feet and celebrates as the fans cheer. Mason slowly gets to his feet and Price greets him with a stiff uppercut. Mason is staggered but he manages to lash out and rake Price’s eyes. Price is stunned for a moment but he recovers quickly and throws another huge haymaker at Mason. Telegraphing the punch, Mason ducks and Price spins around, completely missing him. Mason then grabs Price from behind and sends him flying backward with a half nelson suplex.
Torres: And now it’s Mason Battle with an amazing counter!
Mason stays on Price with some boots to his midsection as he’s getting to his feet. He then grabs Price and slams him to the mat again with a snap suplex. Price bounces off of the mat and holds his back in pain as Mason smiles and enjoys his handiwork. Mason lays into Price with a few more stomps and then puts his foot in the middle of Price’s back and grabs both of his arms, wrenching them backwards. The ref gets down in front of Price and checks for the submission as Mason tightens his grip.
Gould: Oh my, the ole’ surfboard submission hold! It’s been a while since we’ve seen that move used.
Torres: Yeah and it still looks just as painful as I remembered.
Price screams in pain but refuses to give up as the referee is in his face asking. He flails his legs back and forth to attempt to break the hold but Mason holds his grip firmly. Price then finally manages to trip Mason cause him to loosen his grip and allow Price to scoot himself closer to the edge of the ring. Price then hooks his leg on the bottom rope and the ref calls for Mason to break the hold. Mason reluctantly lets go just as the referee threatens to disqualify him. Mason gets in the ref’s face and argues a bit and Price has a bit of a window to recover. He uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet but Mason is right on him. Mason whips him hard to the corner turnbuckle again and then when Prices comes stumbling back out he runs up and levels him with an enzuigiri. Mason scrambles back to his feet and climbs to the top turnbuckle. He leaps off and flips in the air for a 450 splash but Price rolls out of the way at the last second and Mason crashes to the empty mat. Both men are down and the ref checks on them.
Gould: Price just barely avoiding that move!
After a few second both men make it to their feet and meet in the center of the ring. Mason nails Price with a few shots to the face and follows it up with another, harder punch but Price blocks it and counters with a kick to Mason’s gut. Mason keels over and Price drives him headfirst into the mat with a DDT. Price with the cover and the ref counts.

Gould: Barely a 2 count there.
Torres: Yeah Price is going to need to do a lot more than that to keep Mason Battle down for the three, that’s for sure.
Price gets to his feet and catches his breath a bit as Mason is slower to get up. He then runs up and drops Mason with a jumping knee to the face. Price gets on top of him and pounds away for a few moments with rights and lefts, then he pulls Mason back to his feet and irish whips him hard to the corner. He runs in after Mason and crushes him with a shoulder charge, then he follows that up by grabbing the middle ropes on each side of Mason and delivering a few more shoulder charges to his midsection. However after a few of them, Mason manages to hop up over top of Price to avoid the last one and he then pushes off of the ropes with his legs and jumps over Price to flips him backwards into a sunset flip pin. The ref drops to the mat and makes the count.

Gould: And another huge counter by Battle! Almost stealing the victory right there!
Price looks a little shocked by the counter but he recovers quickly and stays on Mason. He grabs him and bodyslams him to the mat, then he runs and bounces off the ropes and comes back with a jumping senton splash. Price then grabs his legs and begins to turn him over into a boston crab. The fans go wild as Mason flails his arms and desperately tries to avoid the submission move being locked in.
Gould: Well it looks like Mason Battle isn’t the only one who knows a thing or two about the submission game!
Price gets Mason completely turned over and he locks in the boston crab. He leans back with all of his weight and puts all of the pressure he can on Mason’s back as the ref checks for the submission. Just as Price did, Mason is yelling out in pain but refuses to give up. Mason lashes out towards the edge of the ring and attempts to grab the bottom rope but Price drags him back out to the center and again tightens his grip. The ref continues to check Mason for a submission but Mason shakes his head and looks determined to break the hold. He pushes himself up with his arms and then out of desperation he spins himself around and causes Price to lose his grip and release the hold. Mason scrambles away from Price but Price again snags one of his legs and then drops an elbow on his back. Price crawls up and gets on Mason’s back to start locking in a camel clutch, but Mason quickly flips Price off of him and then rolls out of the ring to recover. Or at least he thinks, because Price rolls out after him and stats to stalk him outside the ring.
Gould: Jason Price not letting Mason Battle get a single moment of breath in this match right now.
Torres: Well that’s a damned good strategy and that might be what it’s going to take for him to win this match.
Price walks up to grab Battle but Battle reaches up and send him reeling backward with a shop to the throat. Price shakes the cobwebs out and gets ready to come back after Mason but not before Mason readies himself and drops Price with a superkick. Mason catches his breath and lifts Price to his feet and rams his head into the side of the barricade. He then points to the announce table and smiles into the crowd with an evil looking grin as he start to lead Price over to it.
Torres: I think it may be time for us to back away from our table partner.
Gould: Yeah, I’m with you.
Mason slams Price’s face off of the table and then rolls him on top it. But instead of climbing on it himself, Mason grabs Price by his face and pulls him out to where only his feet are left holding him on the table, then he turns and plants Price’s face on his shoulder and drops down for his Fall From Grace signature move. Price hits the floor face first and appears to be out cold.
Torres: He just dropped Jason Price right on his face!
Gould: We might need some medical personal out here!
The referee is making his count but Mason picks Jason up and rolls him back into the ring. He then rolls in afterwards and puts a foot on Jason’s chest and yells at the ref to make the count. The ref drops to the mat.

Mason gives up antagonizing the referee and turns his focus back to Price who is just now starting to sit up. He grabs Price by his hair and stands up him, but Price delivers a huge elbow to Mason’s midsection. Price then grabs Mason and lifts him up in a piledriver position. The fans go nuts as Price then leaps up and spikes Mason headfirst off of the mat with his signature piledriver move. Mason appears to be out and after catching his breath for a few seconds Price crawls over and covers him.
Gould: This could be it!
Torres: No way!

He grabs Mason and picks him up in a powerbomb position and again the fans go crazy as they know what usually comes next.
Gould: He’s got him up for the Enforcer!
Price takes off running but before he can slam Mason to the mat Mason slips out of his grasp and lands behind him. Price spins around but Mason is already in position and he levels him with his finisher, the King-Slayer. Mason drops to the mat and covers Price and the ref makes the count.

Torres: Mason Battle wins!
“Ground Slayer” by Benea Reach plays through the PA system again and Mason Battle celebrates his victory.
Rebecca: Here is your winner…”The Underground King” Mason Battle!!
Mason climbs to the second turnbuckle and spreads his arms out wide in his trademark pose as he yells at the booing fans.
Gould: Still no love lost between Mason Battle and these fans here tonight I guess.
Torres: These boos are unwarranted if you ask me. Mason Battle just put on one hell of a show for these people and their booing him for it!
Gould: Well there’s a lot more to it than just tonight Jim, as I’m sure we’re only just beginning to learn about “The Underground King”. Well that’s all the time we have tonight folks, but be sure to tune in next week for another edition of Meltdown. I’m Malcolm Gould alongside my broadcast partner Jim Torres wishing you all a great night.
The view rests on Mason battle continuing to pose on the turnbuckle as the scene fades and Meltdown comes to an end.

Kick Out!

Kick Out!

Kick Out!
The fans cheer as the referee holds two fingers up. Mason gets an angry look in his face and yells at the ref about a sow count but the referee stands firm and holds up two fingers.
Gould: Oh my, Jason Price is still in this!
The ref counts.

Kick Out!
Gould: Almost a three count!
Price sits up with a look of disappointment in his eyes as he sees the referee holding up two fingers. Determined to end it for sure this time he then gets up and stalks Mason as he’s getting to his feet.
