Excerpt from Chapter 3
Professionally speaking, Corey Bull is a mess. And I say that with the greatest of respect for the man and the things he has been able to accomplish. But underneath it all, there is a devil that should be locked up. When you look over his profile, many people would agree with this assessment.
The most obvious is his Dissociative Identity Disorder. Bull has, at least, 6 different varying personalities that exist within his mind. And that isn’t even the most interesting part of it. It is the fact that all the personalities, his primary plus his additional, can exist simultaneously. Now who the primary is, well that can be anyone’s guess. I personally have spoken with all of them, one very grudgingly.
Vengeance was the first to manifest around the time Bull was 8 and in the mental facility in the Great Northwoods. An act of violence against one of his friends dragged the self proclaimed “dragon” out of his mind and cause him to stab someone. Bully is who followed, around the same time period. He is the representation of Bulls lost youth, so to speak. But he has a foul mouth. Imagine an 8 year old with the knowledge of an adult. Then there is the twins Hatebringer and Oathkeeper. One is a demon, one is an angel, both of them are dangerous. Then there is B, who represents Bulls military side. His is the least vocal of the group, rather allowing physical manifestations to speak for him. Pittbull is another manifestation, popping up just after Bulls teenage years and the death of his father. A very antisocial personality. Last is Sirius. Sirius is apparently a werewolf of immense power and capable of making the other personalities follow his commands. But, and this is according to them all, Sirius is locked up. If he comes free, Bull usually goes into a heavily violent mode.
Now beyond this disorder, Bull also suffers, or strives depending on your outlook, from several other disorders. First there is Intermittent Explosive Disorder. Bull has a tendency to go “off the deep end” on a lot of occasions.. No stressor is needed for this. It just happens. With Bull, it is dangerous not only for his physical stature, but his genuine genius intellect. He is devilishly deviant and knows how to manipulate the situations each time, even with his seemingly “chaotic” and violent outbursts.
Borderline Personality Disorder is next on the list. Bull suffers from instability in personal relationships. Now there is proof that this disorder has been snuffed with a few women. Particularly, his wife Lacey and an ex girlfriend named Angelica Layne. But with several other women, it was obvious that Bull was afraid of abandonment and his self image in their eyes. He usually self destructs the relationships before they get anywhere. Some of this comes from the women of his past, particularly when he was a teen. Women treated him as if he was mentally retarded, but his 143 IQ score proves he is a genius. So he took this personally and it developed into this.
Last but not least is Bulls Antisocial Behavior. It is obvious to anyone that witnesses Bull is to know he has social issues. Sometimes what his personalities believe is appropriate is not appropriate for the situation. And based off of that is his criminal record. Bull killed someone. It is rumored he has killed a few times. But there is proof that he killed someone. You can go through all the paperwork and see what they called it, but it was murder and it was intentional. Watch the tape. I have. Over and over. Bull killed that kid in the ring on purpose. There is no doubt in my mind that he could do it again.
And what that would need, is a stressor. It would have to be something that would go against the warped code that Bull lives by. Like if he was forced to fight a woman and then lost. Now I’m not talking lost fairly, because Bull’s code respects losing in a honorable way. But if something were to happen that made it….questionable, then I believe that Bull could snap. Women is Bulls real weakness. Not his physical dimensions or mental instability. Its women. He witnessed a lot of female abuse as a child, and also in the mental facility he was housed in. That was where the fractured mind began and it is something that Bull has not been able to let go of. Of course, it is also one of his strengths. The need to protect is part of it, but a woman anchors Bull in the now, keeps him focused. It just takes the right kind of women.
Only time will tell what will really cause Bull to snap fully. And I do not know if it is something I wish to see in my lifetime.
