The show opens to the normal pyro display coming from the entrance ramp and "Now We Run" by Steve Vai playing through the PA system. The camera pans around to show the cheering fans holding signs and posters in support of their favorite NAW superstars. The music continues as the view then cuts to the commentary booth where we see the duo of Malcolm Gould & Jim Torres ready to call the action.
Gould: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Monday Night Meltdown! I’m Malcolm Gould and alongside of me as always is my colleague Jim Torres. I’m glad you’re all with us tonight because we have a huge show ahead of us!
Torres: That’s right Malcolm, because tonight we have the last two semifinal matches taking place to determine who will move on to wrestle for the vacant NAW Horizon Championship next week!
Gould: Well on that note partner, let’s send it to Rebecca and get things going here tonight.
"X Gon' Give It to Ya" by DMX plays through the PA system and the NAW ring announcer Rebecca walks to the center of the ring with a mic in her hand.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest is scheduled for one fall. On his way to the ring from Bronx, New York….weighing 235 pounds…Gauge!!
Gauge walks out from the backstage area and onto the entrance ramp. The fans give a small pop for the NAW newcomer as he heads towards the ring.
Gould: Well another fresh talent making his NAW debut tonight and he’s getting a little support here from these fans.
Torres: Well I read this kid’s bio Malcom and not only has he served his country, but he’s also a living example of a rags to riches story. He just hasn’t gotten his riches quite yet…
Gauge walks down to the ring and climbs inside, then he poses with an arm raised in the air as the fans continue to show their support. His music then comes to a stop and the familiar sound of the US Marine Band playing “Hail to the Chief” is heard. After a few seconds, a couple of men dressed in secret service uniforms and sunglasses come walking out with Teddy Justice marching out right behind them.
Rebecca: And introducing his opponent, from Washington DC….weighing 217 pounds….he is “The Prodigy” Theodore Justice!!
The fans react with mixed emotions as Teddy Justice struts towards the ring waving to everybody and shaking hands with some of the fans sitting at ringside.
Torres: You know they call this guy “The Prodigy” but I still can’t figure out why. I mean, he’s lost the last three or four matches he’s been in!
Gould: Well maybe so, but it certainly hasn’t seemed to slow down his motivation any. He still looks like he’s ready for action here tonight despite having some setbacks.
Teddy climbs inside the ring and looks across at Gauge who is glaring back across the ring at him. Teddy’s music comes to a stop and his two “secret service agents” take a spot next to the timekeeper to keep watch from the outside. The bell rings and the two wrestlers begin to circle and size each other up.
Gould: Well there’s definitely some tension between these two as we heard them exchange some choice words this week.
Torres: Well these guys had quite the stare down last week on Meltdown, and then this week Gauge made it quite clear in his promo that he didn’t care for Teddy Justice or his “kind”. Justice fired back with some harsh words of his own this week and now here we are.
Gould: Well I think these two are done talking now.
Gauge is the first to make a move as he dives in after Justice and attempts to grapple him. Justice however reverses the attempt and flings Gauge to the mat with a hiptoss. Gauge scrambles to his feet and comes after Justice again but Justice takes him down with an arm drag. Gauge gets back to his feet again but Justice stays on him and sends him back down to the mat with a flying forearm. Gauge slowly gets to his feet once more but again Justice is right there waiting and catches him in the face with a crescent kick. Justice with the pin attempt.

Gould: Teddy Justice with the early pin attempt, looking to try to end things a little early.
Torres: I guess he’s really desperate to end that losing streak isn’t he?
Justice pulls Gauge back to his feet but out of nowhere Gauge fire back with some quick punches to stun Justice and send him reeling backward. Gauge then runs at Justice and levels him with a flying lariat. Gauge take a couple of seconds to recover and then he grabs Teddy Justice as he’s getting to his feet and slams him to the mat with a gutwrench suplex. Gaige stays on Teddy with another side suplex and then irish whips him to the rope and catches him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on the return. Gauge with the cover.

Gould: Only a two, but still an impressive display of wrestling by the newcomer!
Gauge pulls Justice back to his feet and walks him over to the corner. He rams Justice’s head into the top turnbuckle a few times and then releases him to let him stagger back out towards the center of the ring. Gauge climbs up to the second turnbuckle and waits for Justice to turn around, then leaps off and levels him with a flying shoulder tackle. Gauge gets back up and stalks Justice as he crawls to the ropes and uses them to pull himself back up. Gauge waits for Justice to turn around and then he runs up and closelines him over the top rope to send him out of the ring. Justice tumbles to the outside floor and Gauge climbs out after him as the referee begins his count. Gauge grabs Justice as he’s getting back up and whips him into the barrier. Justice hits it back first and falls to a sitting position. Gauge then runs in and jumps at Justice with a knee smash but Justice rolls out of the way and Gauge hits the barrier instead. Both men stay down and the referee continues his count, reminding the two wrestlers of the count out.
Torres: Gauge better be careful, he doesn’t want to get counted out on his NAW debut.
Gould: Well the same goes for Teddy Justice. If he wants to end this losing streak he better find a way to get himself back inside that ring before the referee reaches that ten count!
Justice crawls over to the ring and climbs back up on the apron as does Gauge. Justice rolls inside and Gauge climbs in close behind him to avoid the count out. Justice makes it to his feet first and he walks over to drop Gauge with a DDT just as he’s getting back up. He drops down and attempts the cover

Gauge takes a few seconds to catch his breath and then he gets back to his feet. Justice makes it to his hands and knees so Gauge starts to lock in a reverse chin lock. Justice begins to fight his way out of it though by elbowing Gauge in the head a few times to cause him to lose his grip and stagger backward a couple of steps.
Gould: Teddy Justice escapes the hold!
Justice hops back to his feet and bounces off of the ropes to come flying back at a stunned Gauge with an enziguri, but Gauge sees it coming and ducks causing Justice to come up empty. Gauge waits for Justice to get back up his feet and then sneaks up behind him to slam him back to the mat with a german suplex. Gauge with another cover.

Gauge is slow to get back up and Justice grabs him and hits a jawbreaker. Gage falls to the mat and Justice stays on him with a couple of elbow drops. Justice then lifts Gauge to his feet and tosses him to the ropes, then scoops him up on the rebound and plants him on the mat with a sambo suplex. Justice makes the cover.

Torres: What’s he planning?
Teddy makes it to the second turnbuckle and waits as Gauge slowly gets to his feet. Justice then looks out into the crowd and holds up his right fist before stepping up to the top turnbuckle and leaping off towards Gauge. He comes down with a huge double axe handle right on top of Gauge’s head and Gauge falls to the mat.

Justice comes stumbling back off of the ropes and Gauge lifts him up into a bodyslam position. Gauge looks out towards the center of the ring and takes off running to land a powerslam but Justice struggles free and manages to slip out and land on the mat behind Gauge instead. Justice then hooks Gauge’s arm and grabs him by the head to slam him face first to the mat with the Filibuster.

Justice hooks Gauge’s leg and the ref makes his count.

“Hail to the Chef” plays and Rebecca enters the ring.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner…Theodore Justice!!
The referee raises Teddy Justice’s arm and he celebrates his victory with a huge smile. Justice then exits the ring and leaves with his security detail as Gauge watches on with a disappointed look on his face.
Torres: Well tough luck for the NAW rookie.
Gould: Indeed it was, but you know what they say…it’s not how hard you fall, it’s how fast you can get back up. I’m sure we haven’t seen that last of Gauge in the NAW.
Meltdown goes to commercial and when it returns the view is a closeup of the announcer’s booth. Malcolm Gould begins to speak.
Gould: Welcome back folks, I hope you enjoyed our opening match tonight. Last week on Meltdown our acting NAW General Manager David Fraggle suffered a severe concussion after he was brutally attacked by Jason Price and taken out of commission. Now we still don’t have a clear timeframe on when David will be able to return to his duties here in the NAW, but so far doctors are saying he will be out for at least a month.
Torres: Yeah well my question is…where does that leave us as far as a general manager goes? Alex Morgan is out, David Fraggle is out…who’s in charge now?
Gould: Well your guess is as good as mine, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. For now, let’s get back to ringside for our next match.
Rebecca: The following contest is scheduled for on fall. Introducing first from Hickory NC…weighing in at 252 pounds… he is “Basic Thuganomicks” Johnathan Blade!!
“Till I Collapse” by Eminem plays through the PA system and Johnathan Blade comes walking out from the back with a microphone in his hand. He slowly strolls towards the ring and begins to talk smack about his opponent as he goes.
Johnathan Blade: So tonight I get to wrestle Jason Price, the same chump who lost his NAW Horizon Title belt and then decided that all of you guys don’t matter to him any longer.
Gould: Well here we go…Johnathan Blade getting some extra jabs in on Jason Price before the match.
Torres: Yeah well he better watch what he says because Jason Price is not one to be played with anymore!
Johnathan Blade continues his tirade on Price as he gets near the ring.
Johnathan Blade: Jason Price acts like it’s the fans’ fault that he sucks now and isn’t champion anymore. Well tonight after I put that crybaby to sleep, he can lay in his hospital bed and dream about what it used to be like to be a champion in the NAW. Then after that…
Just then, Johnathan Blade’s words are cut off as he’s blindsided from behind.
Gould: It’s Jason Price! He’s attacking Blade before the match even starts!
Torres: Ha ha, I told you!
Jason Price closelines Johnathan Blade from behind and sends him to the floor. Blade’s microphone goes tumbling and Price rips his t-shirt off and tosses it aside before going to work on Blade with stomps and kicks. He lifts Blade to his feet and tosses him hard into the ring steps. Blade goes flipping over top of them and crashes to the floor on the other side as Price picks up the microphone that Blade dropped. He gets a wicked looking smile on his face before he walks up to Blade and starts to taunt him.
Jason Price: You want to run your mouth about me? I suck huh? Well guess what? You’re about to eat your damned words!
Price takes the microphone and winds up and then cracks Blade right across the mouth with the butt of it. Blade falls to the floor and Jason tosses the mic aside as he continues his assault with more stomps.
Gould: Jason Price is dismantling Johnathan Blade!
Torres: Yeah there’s nothing the referee can do about it because the match hasn’t even officially started yet!
Jason Price picks up an empty chair from the timekeeper’s area and folds it up. He walks over and cracks Blade across his back as he’s getting back to his feet. Blade falls back to the floor and Price whacks him a few more times and then tosses the chair aside. Price climbs inside the ring and the referee yells at him and threatens to disqualify him but Jason just yells back at him to start the match. The referee hesitates as he looks at Blade who is just starting to get back up.
Gould: Jason Price wants the referee to start the match? We’re not still going to go through with this match are we? Johnathan Blade can barely stand!
Torres: I don’t know, I don’t think Blade is letting the referee make that choice for him.
Blade grits his teeth and climbs onto the ring apron saying he’s good to go and the referee finally signals to the timekeeper to ring the bell to start the match. Price hurries over and lays into Blade with stomps as soon as he rolls inside the ring. Price then lifts Blade to his feet and flips him into the center of the ring with a back suplex. Price covers Blade and hooks the leg, yelling at the referee to make the count.

Price gets to his feet and gets in the referee’s face, accusing him of making a slow count. The referee stands his ground and holds up two fingers as he argues back. Meanwhile Johnathan Blade gets a small window of recovery and crawls over to the ropes to start pulling himself back up. Price gives up arguing with the ref and turns his attention back to Blade. Price walks over and goes to grab Blade but Blade elbows him in the stomach a few times and then grabs him to slam him to the mat with a belly to back suplex. Both men stay down, but the fans show their support for Johnathan Blade.
Gould: Johnathan Blade with an excellent counter!
Torres: Well he’s showing that he has heart, that’s for sure.
Both men stay down for a few more seconds but then begin to get to their feet at the same time. Price makes it to his feet first and walks over to Blade who is still next to the ropes. He grabs Blade and puts him in a headlock but Blade uses his weight advantage and whips Price to the ropes, breaking out of the headlock. Prices comes rebounding back and Blade drops him with a closeline. The fans go nuts as Blade stars to get fired up.
Gould: And here comes Johnathan Blade!
Price scrambles back to his feet and comes running back at Blade again but Blade drops him with another closeline. Price gets back up one more time and Blade grabs him and slams him to the mat with a side suplex. Blade gets back to his feet and stands above Price, waving his hands in his face signaling for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Blade bounces off of the ropes and hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle, then he gets back up and signals to the fans that he wants to end it. Blade pulls Price to his feet and lifts him up for the Blade Breaker but Price wiggles free and lands behind Blade.
Gould: Jason Price escaped it!
Blade spins around and Price delivers a kick to the gut and then lifts Blade up above his head and staggers a few steps forward before slamming him to the mat with an Enforcer, his running powerbomb finishing move. Price crawls over and covers Johnathan Blade and the referee makes the count.

Jason Price’s music plays and he raises his hand in the air as the announcer enters into the ring.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentlemen…here is your winner…Jason Price!!
Gould: Jason Price gets the win against Johnathan Blade but not without a pre-match assault that left Blade at a disadvantage from the beginning.
Torres: Well Price said that he was done taking crap from people and that from now on he was going to do whatever it takes to win. Tonight he accomplished both of those things.
Meltdown goes to commercial and we see a promo for NAW’s next supershow; Revenge, which takes place on November 24th. When Meltdown comes back we see Rebecca standing inside the empty ring.
“Soldier” by North Mississippi All-stars starts to play through the PA system.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentlemen, this next match is a semifinal match in the NAW Horizon Championship Tournament. Introducing first from Rock Fence Crossroads, Georgia….weighing 238 pounds….Bohannon!!
The fans cheer as Bohannon walks out from the back and makes his way towards the ring. He removes his t-shirt and tosses it into the crowd before climbing inside the ring, then he walks to his corner to await his opponent. His music comes to a stop and “Gunfight” by Sick Puppies begins playing and purple flashlights hit the entrance.
Rebecca: And his opponent, from London, UK….weighing 125 pounds….Lizzy Taylor!!
Once the chorus kicks in, Lizzy Taylor comes running out from behind the curtains. She stands at the top of the ramp with her fingers pointed like pistols as sparks ignite the stage. After posing for a few more seconds Lizzy runs down the aisle and slides into the ring. Her music comes to a stop and she heads to her corner to await the start of the match.
Torres: Well here we go Malcolm, the winner of this match will go on to wrestle in the Horizon Championship match next week right here on Meltdown. It’s either going to be Bohannon or Lizzy Taylor, who are you picking Gould?
Gould: No way I can pick a winner in this one, we’re just going to have to sit back and watch.
The ref signals for the bell and the match officially gets underway. The two wrestlers lock up, and Bohannon uses his size advantage to push Taylor back into the corner. He delivers a few stiff knees to the midsection, then he tosses Taylor into the center of the ring with an armdrag. Taylor scrambles to her feet but Bohannon meets her with a closeline. Bohannon lifts Taylor to her feet and tosses her to the ropes and then catches her and plants her with a t-bone suplex. Bohannon grabs Taylor’s leg and ties her up into an ankle lock. Bohannon tightens the hold as the ref checks for the submission, but Taylor quickly reaches out and grabs the bottom rope to escape the hold. He tosses Taylor to the ropes and ducks down for a back body drop as she comes running back, but Taylor telegraphs the move and stops right in front of Bohannon to kick him square in the head with a chick kick. Taylor grabs Bohannon as he’s getting up and hits a back suplex. She then runs to the ropes as Bohannon is getting up again and comes running back to nail him with a dropkick to the head. Taylor keeps the pressure on with stomps and forearm shots as Bohannon continuously tries to get up, then she finally lifts Bohannon up and lands a suplex.
Gould: Wow, Taylor is proving her toughness by getting him up like that despite his size advantage.
Torres: Yeah and Bohannon came down hard right on his back. That’s gonna hurt in the morning!
Taylor stays targeted on Bohannon’s back, jumping up and hitting a double knee smash, then she drops down and locks him into a sharpshooter. The ref gets down and checks for the submission, but Bohannon shakes his head no as the ref asks him if he wants to quit. Taylor releases the hold and stomps him a few more times to the back, then she locks in the hold in again. Bohannon struggles to break free and he screams in pain as Taylor tightens the hold. Bohannon inches his way towards the bottom rope and manages to get a finger on the rope, causing the ref to force Taylor to break the hold. Taylor releases Bohannon and drags him to the center of the ring, then grabs his legs again, but Bohannon kicks her off and Taylor stumbles back into the corner. Elizabeth Taylor celebrates her victory and exits the ring to return to the backstage area as Meltdown goes to commercial.
When the show returns we see a view of the backstage area. Bohannon is seen walking through the hallway area with a disappointed look on his face. He turns a corner and stars to head towards his locker room and standing right there is Jason Price, his arms crossed and a big smile on his face. Bohannon starts to walk past Price and ignore him but he stops in his tracks and glares over at Price once Price starts to nod his head.
Bohannon: What the hell are you looking at?
Price: Nothing...nothing at all. Good show tonight though Bohannon…way to go out there and get it done. I guess semifinals aren’t your thing huh?
Price laughs and Bohannon grits his teeth.
Bohannon: Well at least I made it past the first round. I’m surprised you even know what a semifinal is. Now get the hell out of my way…you have anything else to say to me you can try saying it inside the ring!
Bohannon shoves his way past Price and continues down the hallway. Price shakes his head and laughs as he walks off. The scene then cuts back to ringside where we see Malcolm Gould and Jim Torres standing by.
Gould: Well it was Lizzie Taylor who claimed the first spot in the NAW Horizon Championship match next week and now it’s time to see who’s going to claim the second.
Torres: Yeah Eric Ambrose has been on a roll lately but Trent Brown is always tough and never an easy fight.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest is scheduled for one fall and is a semifinal match in the NAW Horizon Championship Tournament.
“Heart Shaped Box” by Nirvana begins to play.
Rebecca: Introducing first, from Cleveland, Ohio….weighing 225 pounds…Trent Brown!!
Trent appears on the ramp standing alongside his wife Kat. The pair walk down the ramp and head to the ring. Trent keeps his eyes locked forward and ignores the fans as they boo him.
Gould: I can remember a time when the fans loved this guy.
Torres: Yeah well times change Malcolm and so do people. You’re looking at a meaner, stronger Trent Brown than ever before and I don’t think he cares how these people feel about that.
Trent climbs into the ring and walks over to his corner to await his opponent for the night. His music stops playing and in its place, “Cry Little Sister” by Gerard McMann plays as the lights go out.
Rebecca: And his opponent, from Tijuana, Mexico….weighing 221 pounds…he is “Up all Night” Eric Ambrose!!
Eric Ambrose walks out from behind the curtains and heads slowly to the ring. When he gets to the ring he slides into it and crawls to the center of the ring as the lights go back on. He then waits for the match to start and his music comes to a stop. The referee calls for the bell and the match gets underway. Trent instantly charges at Ambrose and begins to hammer away on him with punches and kicks, working him back towards the corner. Ambrose manages to get his arm up to block a punch but Trents send him reeling backward with a running knee lift. Ambrose stumbles back into the corner and tries to shake the cobwebs out but Trent stays right on him with some shots to the midsection.
Gould: Well Trent looks to have formed a pretty effective game plan so far, utilizing his power advantage.
Trent attempts to irish whip Ambrose into the opposite corner, but Ambrose plants his foot and doesn’t budge. He then yanks Trent towards him and floors him with a standing closeline.
Torres: Well so much for that power advantage.
Ambrose stomps on Trent as he tries to get to his feet, then he pulls him to the center of the ring and lands a belly to snap suplex. Trent crashes to the mat and Ambrose stays on him with more stomps. Trent crawls to the edge of the ring and uses the ropes to get to his feet, and Ambrose tosses him back into the center of the ring again with a bodyslam. He then starts to lift Trent back to his feet, but Trent delivers a couple of shots to the midsection and Ambrose keels over. Trent follows it up with a knee to the face and Ambrose falls to the mat. Trent catches his breath a bit, then he runs to the ropes and comes back with a jumping knee drop across Ambrose’s chest. Ambrose stumbles backward into the ropes and Trent scrambles to his feet and follows up with a flurry of punches and kicks, then he hits a belly to belly suplex. Trent lifts Ambrose to his feet and irish whips him to the ropes, then Trent attempts a diving closeline but Ambrose ducks it and bounces off the opposite rope and comes back with a dropkick as Trent is getting up. Ambrose grabs Trent by the head and locks in a sitting sleeper hold, and the ref checks for the submission.
Gould: Ambrose with the submission hold, trying to put Trent Brown to sleep.
Torres: Yeah but it’s not locked in very tight, Trent can escape this.
Trent flails his arms around as Ambrose tries to reposition and apply more pressure. Trent desperately tries to reach the ropes and eventually manages to snag the bottom rope with his hand and the ref calls for Ambrose to break the hold. Ambrose lifts Trent to his feet and tosses him to the ropes with an irish whip, then catches him with a DDT as he comes back. Ambrose with the cover.

Both men get back to their feet and meet in the center of the ring. They start throwing punches and the fans cheer their approval as they trade right and lefts back and forth…Ambrose…Trent…Ambrose…Trent…Ambrose…Trent…Trent…Trent…Trent gains the advantage and throws one last roundhouse, but Ambrose ducks it and catches him from behind with a backdrop. Trent scrambles back to his feet and just as they are about to lock up again Trent fakes a punch but instead delivers a low kick to Ambrose to take the advantage back. He lifts Ambrose up for a Midnight Special but Ambrose sits up and starts to punch him in the head. Trent falls backward and Ambrose lands on top of him, holding on for the pin attempt.

He stumbles back out to the center of the ring, a little dazed, and Trent then levels him with a closeline. Both men are slow to start getting back to their feet, Ambrose uses the ropes to pull himself back up and Trent also makes it to his feet. Trent sees a dazed Ambrose holding himself up with the ropes, so he runs at him but Ambrose leaps up and launches a Crim Kick at Trent. Trent dodges the kick at the last second and manages to duck around behind Ambrose. Torres: Trent Brown wins!
The referee signals for the bell and “Heart Shaped Box” by Nirvana plays again. Trent Brown raises his arms in the air and celebrates with Kat as the announcer walks to the center of the ring.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner…Trent Brown!!
Gould: Trent Brown has done it Jim, he’s made it to the NAW Horizon Championship match!
Torres: And now he’s set to face Elizabeth Taylor for the title next week on Meltdown!
Trent climbs the corner turnbuckle and celebrates his victory. After a few moments the Pistols are seen on the entrance stage and Lizzy Taylor walks out front and center clapping her hands with a smile on her face. Trent spots her and returns a cocky smile of his own, making the title belt gesture around his waist. Lizzy nods her head and continues to smile as she waves him on, fully welcoming the challenge.
Gould: Well our championship match for next week is all set now…and these two look like they’re all ready to go!
Torres: Oh and I can’t wait Malcolm, it’s going to be huge!
The view focuses on the stare down between Trent Brown and Lizzy Taylor as the scene fades and the show comes to an end.
Theodore Justice vs Gauge
Gould: Teddy Justice escapes the hold!
Justice hops back to his feet and bounces off of the ropes to come flying back at a stunned Gauge with an enziguri, but Gauge sees it coming and ducks causing Justice to come up empty.
Johnathan Blade vs Jason Price

Horizon Championship Tournament Semi-Finals
Elizabeth Taylor vs Bohannon
Elizabeth Taylor vs Bohannon
Bohannon shakes the cobwebs out as Taylor gets back up to her feet, Bohannon charges back at Taylor with his arm outstretched for a closeline but Taylor kicks him in the gut and then lifts him up and plants him with the London’s Bridge. She holds on tight and locks her hands together to complete the pin and the referee makes the count.

The ref calls for the bell and Taylor raises her arms as the announcer enters the ring.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentlemen…here is your winner…Lizzie Taylor!!
Gould: Oh what a turnaround right at the end, and now Elizabeth Taylor is heading into the title match next week!
Torres: Well she earned it here tonight, that’s for sure.
Horizon Championship Tournament Semi-Finals
Trent Brown vs Eric Ambrose
Trent Brown vs Eric Ambrose
Ambrose rolls around on the mat holding his chest, and Trent lifts him up to hit him with a spinning side slam. Trent with the cover.

Trent spots her and returns a cocky smile of his own, making the title belt gesture around his waist. Lizzy nods her head and continues to smile as she waves him on, fully welcoming the challenge.

Torres: Oh and I can’t wait Malcolm, it’s going to be huge!
