The show opens to the normal pyro display coming from the entrance ramp and "Now We Run" by Steve Vai playing through the PA system. The camera pans around to show the cheering fans holding signs and posters in support of their favorite NAW superstars. The music continues as the view then cuts to the commentary booth where we see the duo of Malcolm Gould & Jim Torres ready to call the action.
Gould: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Monday Night Meltdown! I’m Malcolm Gould and alongside of me as always is my colleague Jim Torres. I’m glad you’re all with us tonight because we have a great night of matches ahead of us!
Torres: We sure do Malcolm. This week the new NAW Champion Alaric Trudeau issued an open challenge to the entire NAW roster for a shot tonight at his newly won title belt and Corey Bull stepped up to answer the call!
Gould: That’s going to be one hell of a fight, that’s for sure. But before we get to that we have the frontmen of two of the NAW’s tag teams going one on one in singles action. You think this match will have any implications towards the tag team titles Jim?
Torres: Probably not, but it should be a fun match anyway.
Gould: Well I gotta agree with you on that partner. Now let’s kick things off and go to ringside where our lovely ring announcer Rebecca Martin is ready to announce the first match.
Theodore Justice vs Gauge
"X Gon' Give It to Ya" by DMX plays through the PA system.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest is scheduled for one fall. On his way to the ring from Bronx, New York….weighing 235 pounds…Gauge!!
Gauge walks out from the backstage area and onto the entrance ramp. The fans give a small pop for him as he heads towards the ring.
Gould: Well even though the NAW General Manager has lost faith in this man, the fans here seem to still have some love for him.
Torres: That’s because many of them know that tomorrow he’ll be probably standing next to them in the unemployment line.
Gauge walks down to the ring and climbs inside, then he poses with an arm raised in the air as the fans continue to show their support. His music then comes to a stop and the familiar sound of the US Marine Band playing “Hail to the Chief” is heard. After a few seconds, a couple of men dressed in secret service uniforms and sunglasses come walking out with Teddy Justice marching out right behind them.
Rebecca: And introducing his opponent, from Washington DC….weighing 217 pounds….he is “The Prodigy” Theodore Justice!!
The fans respond with mixed reactions as Teddy Justice struts towards the ring waving to everybody and shaking hands with some of the fans sitting at ringside.
Gould: And here comes our new head of security.
Torres: Well I don’t know about you Gould, but I think Tyson Phoenix made a great decision when he appointed Theodore Justice as the NAW’s new Head of Security last week. Justice is going to be a huge improvement over Mitch Thompson, we all know how incompetent Mitch was.
Teddy climbs inside the ring and looks across at Gauge who is glaring back across the ring at him, perhaps looking for retribution for their last encounter. Teddy’s music comes to a stop and his two “secret service agents” take a spot next to the timekeeper to keep watch from the outside. The bell rings and the two wrestlers begin to circle and size each other up.
Gould: Well here we go, these two are ready to hook it up once again.
Gauge and Teddy grapple in the center of the ring and Teddy flips Gauge over with a hip toss. Gauge scrambles back to his feet and comes charging back, but again he is flipped to the mat, this time with an arm drag. Teddy holds on to Gauge’s arm and locks in a reverse arm bar. Gauge gets to the ropes immediately however and Teddy is forced to release the hold. Again the two meet in the center of the ring in a grapple but this time Gauge powers Teddy backward and into the corner. He delivers a few hard punches to Teddy’s midsection and then winds up and sits Teddy down with an uppercut. Gauge takes a few steps back and then runs in to crush Teddy’s head against the middle turnbuckle with a running knee attack.
Gould: Gauge is out for blood this time it seems.
Torres: Out to keep his job is more like it.
Gauge lifts Teddy to his feet and whips him hard into the opposite corner, then when Teddy comes stumbling out Gauge catches him and slams him to the mat with a hard bodyslam. Gauge with the cover.

Kick out by Teddy Justice!
Gauge once again lifts Teddy to his feet and flips him to the mat with a belly to back suplex. Teddy rolls across the mat and falls to the outside floor. His “secret service” detail comes rushing up to help him but Teddy quickly waves them off and they return to their positions. Teddy crawls back inside the ring and Gauge comes after him again but this time Teddy catches Gauge off guard with a jumping dropkick to send him reeling backward. Gauge shakes it off and comes charging forward once more but Teddy steps to the side and catches him with a spinning back kick to the mid-section. Gauge keels over and Teddy runs up and plants him with a DDT. Teddy Justice with the cover.

Gauge kicks out!
Gould: Gauge was caught by surprise there.
Torres: Yeah but he still easily escapes the three count.
Teddy gets back to his feet as does Gauge. Gauge swings at Teddy with a punch but Teddy ducks underneath of it and catches Gauge with an atomic drop. Gauge stumbles forward and Teddy runs up and plants him on the canvas face first with a bulldog. Teddy with the cover.

Kick out by Gauge!
Gould: Close call!
Teddy lifts Gauge to his feet and sends him to the ropes with an irish whip. Teddy catches Gauge on the rebound and scoops him up for a side suplex but Gauge holds on to Teddy’s head and swings his legs around to plant him with a tornado DDT. The fans cheer their approval.
Gould: What a move by Gauge!
Torres: Yeah that was pretty impressive.
Gauge catches his breath and then goes to work on Teddy Justice with stomps as he’s getting back to his feet. He grabs Teddy by the head and leads him over near the corner and bodyslams him to the mat. Gauge then climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps off to hit an elbow drop across Teddy’s chest. He lands the move perfectly and covers Teddy.

Kick out!
Gould: Just a two count after that devastating elbow drop!
Torres: Yeah I thought he might have had him there.
Gauge pulls Teddy back to his feet and flips to the center of the ring with a suplex. He then sits Teddy up and locks in a sleeper hold. The ref begins to watch for the submission and Teddy’s arms flail around as he tries to escape.
Gould: Gauge is trying to put Teddy Justice to sleep!
Gauge tightens his grip and Teddy’s arms both begin to droop to his sides. It looks like he is about to pass out when suddenly he gets a burst of energy and starts thrashing around. He manages to roll over onto his stomach and in turn he gets a foot on the bottom rope. The ref sees the foot on the rope and calls for Gauge to break the hold.
Gould: Teddy Justice narrowly escapes being submitted by getting to the ropes.
Torres: Well he better get back in the game or Gauge is going to
Gauge gets back to his feet and stalks Teddy as he uses the ropes to pull himself back up. Gauge moves in to grab Teddy but Teddy breaks free and closelines Gauge to the mat. Both men are down briefly but it’s Teddy who makes it to his feet first. He lifts Gauge to his feet and whips him hard into the corner, then runs in and floors Gauge with a jumping knee attack. Gauge is on the mat and now it’s Teddy Justice who starts climbing the corner turnbuckle.
Torres: Uh oh, what’s he gonna do here?
Gould: I think he’s looking for his signature double axe handle.
Teddy gets to the top turnbuckle and looks out into the crowd as he waits for Gauge to get back up. Gauge finally staggers to his feet and Teddy leaps off for the double axe handle. Gauge sees it coming at the last second however, and he ducks down and nails Teddy in the stomach with a huge roundhouse just as he lands. Teddy falls over to the mat and Gauge quickly rolls him up for the pin.

No! Teddy kicks out again!
Gould: Teddy Justice just barely escaped the three count!
Torres: Well Justice better get his head back in the game. That’s the second time that Gauge almost took the win from a huge counter move. The next time could be the third strike.
Gauge sits up and looks a bit disappointed, apparently expecting that counter to put Teddy Justice away. He gets to his feet and grabs Teddy as he’s getting back up and lifts him up into a bodyslam position. He starts to run across the ring for his signature running bodyslam, but after a few steps Teddy slips out of Gauge’s grasp and lands on the mat next to him. Before Gauge can react, Teddy quickly reaches over and grabs him by the head, then hooks the leg and drops him face first to the mat with a Filibuster.
Gould: The Filibuster!
Teddy covers Gauge and the ref counts.

Theodore Justice wins!
The bell rings and “Hail to the Chief” plays over the PA system
Rebecca: Ladies and gentleman here is your winner…”The Prodigy” Theodore Justice!!
Gould: Tough break for Gauge as he once again loses to Theodore Justice...perhaps for the very last time.
Torres: Yeah I’d imagine this is the last time we’re going to be seeing Gauge in an NAW ring, but who knows Malcolm…anything can happen in this business.
Gould: Well you’re certainly right about that.
Teddy Justice exits the ring and celebrates his win as he returns to the backstage area with his “secret service” detail in tow.
Gould: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Monday Night Meltdown! I’m Malcolm Gould and alongside of me as always is my colleague Jim Torres. I’m glad you’re all with us tonight because we have a great night of matches ahead of us!
