Handler Name: Nicholas
How You Found Us: User "uwlhill" on the OCW forums.
Wrestler Name: Nic Allen
Nicknames: 'the Nightmare', 'the Master & Ruler of the World'
Billed From: Detroit, Michigan
Billed Height & Weight: 6'0 & 260 lbs.
Picture Base/Poser: Kevin Steen
Alignment(Face/Heel/Tweener): Tweener
Theme Music: 'the Destroyer of All Things' - Blue Stahli
Entrance Style: I will usually write and send in a new one for each match, but here's an example:
[The thumping opening notes to 'The Destroyer of All Things' by Blue Stahli begin to pulse throughout the arena, sending the fans to their feet and craning their necks toward the curtain to get a better view.]
ANNOUNCER: Making his way to the ring from Detroit, Michigan..
[About 30 seconds in to the song three things happen; the beat flares to life, the rhythm intensifies threefold and the curtain snaps open and Nic Allen steps through.]
ANNOUNCER: Weighing in at two-hundred and sixty pounds.. standing six foot tall..
[Nic stands at the top of the ramp taking in the crowd, a look on his face that conveys pure indifference. After only a few short moments he begins his slow, steady stalk down the ramp toward the ring, casually glancing right to left as fans throw their hands over the barricade in an attempt to touch him.]
ANNOUNCER: Here is... 'the NIGHTMARE'! NIIIIIC ALLLL-LEENNNNNNN!
[As Nic reaches ringside he stops and quickly turns toward the fans..]
NIC ALLEN: WHO' S THE MAN?!
[.. and they go rabid, with a couple of the dedicated yelling back "YOU'RE THE MAN!". He grins slightly, turning toward the ring he stomps up the steel steps and slides through the ropes, once inside he walks a semi-circle until he reaches the corner and instead of climbing the turnbuckle to pose he simply grabs hold of the top rope and pulls to stretch the muscles in his back and arms.]
Wrestling gear: Coal black wrestling boots, kickpads & kneepads, black wrestling singlet with gunmetal trim, sleeveless t-shirt with varying logos (bands/comics/wrestlers), black forearm, wrist and hand tape. (Occasionally he'll wear a pair of gym shorts over the singlet.)
Gimmick/Character: Intellectual, quick-witted and a silver tongue would be a start. A natural at pretty much anything he tries, the only problem is he usually doesn't care enough to try anything. When you're as intelligent as he is you tend to get bored of things quickly, add that to his apathetic nature and you have the perfect piece of clay; it could be anything in the world, emphasis on could. He chose wrestling.
Wrestling Style(Brawler, Technical, Aerial, etc.): Innovative technical brawler.
Move Set:
1.) Various suplexes (exploder, dragon, sidewinder, tiger, saito, t-bone, northern lights, snap, delayed vertical, etc.)
2.) Glimmering warlock
3.) Pumphandle neckbreaker
4.) Pop-up powerbomb
5.) Short arm clothesline
6.) Curb stomp (Super Dragon style, not Seth Rollins)
7.) Brainbuster
8.) Cradle DDT
Signature Moves:
1.) 'Nightmare Driver I' - Delayed vertical suplex transitioned into a death valley driver.
2.) 'Nightmare Driver II' - Delayed vertical suplex transitioned into a sit-out powerbomb.
3.) 'the Centipede' - Put opponent in tree of woe/apply reverse triangle choke.
Primary Finisher: 'the Widowmaker'
Description: Powerbomb set up but at the apex Nic adjusts his hands and drops it into a package piledriver.
Secondary Finisher (optional): 'the Doombringer'
Description: Cross legged/arm trap fisherman buster.
Backstory(Short bio for your character goes here):
He got in to the wrestling scene quite late, really. He didn't begin training until he was 23 and didn't have his first match until he was 25. Before he decided he wanted to train to become a wrestler, he was in his fourth year of college studying to be a psychologist.
It took him a while to realize that while he loved the way the human mind worked, he didn't like humans. He felt that most people were quite petty, as a whole. Perfect people with perfect lives complaining about the most trivial of first world problems.
So he dropped out at the age of 22 and basically floated around for a year doing absolutely nothing but staying in shape. He met a few guys at his gym in Detroit that wrestled on the indy circuit and they really sold him on it. He began training at 23 and took to it like a duck to water, quickly becoming quite the all around wrestler with a specialty for being innovative. Waiting until he thought he was totally ready, he began his career 5 years ago and is slowly but surely creating a monumental buzz and making quite the name for himself.
