The show opens to the normal pyro display coming from the entrance ramp and "Now We Run" by Steve Vai playing through the PA system. The camera pans around to show the cheering fans holding signs and posters in support of their favorite NAW superstars. The music continues as the view then cuts to the commentary booth where we see the duo of Malcolm Gould & Jim Torres ready to call the action.
Gould: Hello everybody and welcome to our first supershow if the new year…Rebirth! I’m Malcolm Gould and alongside of me as always to assist me in calling the action is my colleague Jim Torres. I’m glad you’re all with us tonight because what a show do have for you!
Torres: That’s right Malcolm, both titles will be on the line tonight! The vacant Horizon Championship in our co-main event and then the NAW Championship in our main event!
Gould: Yeah both of those matches are going to be huge Jim, I can’t wait to see what happens when…
Just then, Malcolm Gould’s words are cut off as the lights go out and "Can't Kill Us” plays on the PA system.
Torres: Huh, what’s happening?
Gould: I don’t know!?
Eric Ambrose and Thomas Valin then appear and walk out from behind the curtains and walk slowly to the ring. When they get to the ring they slide into it and crawls to the centre of the ring as the lights go back on Eric Ambrose is handed a microphone.
Eric Ambrose: We’re here tonight because of a couple of reasons. The first one is we wanted to make a very special announcement. The Lost Family have now held the NAW Tag Team Championships for over six months and not only that but they’ve now gone down in history as being the longest reigning NAW tag team champions of all time.
"Dope Hat" then hits the PA system and David Fraggle walks out from behind the curtains with "Sideshow" Euan dante by his side. They both walk to the ring and when they get to it David Fraggle slides under the bottom and stands up. He then runs to a nearby corner jumps onto it and raises his arms. He then jumps off of the corner, turns around and is handed a microphone as his music stops playing.
David Fraggle: Hello my brothers and sisters it is I “The Very Good” David Fraggle here tonight to say that Sanctuary wanted to face a team put together by Alex Morgan. Sadly for us Alex Morgan never accepted the challenge because he’s too much of a coward. So instead of wrestling in a match we’re going to make another announcement for everybody in the arena tonight and that includes the other wresters in the back. Last year there was a big question of who hired me to be the general manager of NAW? Tonight I’m going to answer that. The man who hired me to be the General Manager of NAW was Mr Bloom.
David Fraggle stops talking and looks at stunned faces on fans. He then begins to speak again.
David Fraggle: The man who personally handed me the NAW Championship was Mr Bloom.
The fans begin to boo.
David Fraggle: The man who picked Alaric to be the man who defeated Gunner Hughes to become NAW Championship was Mr Bloom.
The fans begin to boo louder.
David Fraggle: Look back at the match between Alaric and I and you will see that it was a trap to put Gunner into his place so that Alaric could abuse him.
The fans begin to chant “Bloom sucks.”
David Fraggle: You can boo and chant Bloom sucks all that you want but the fact of the matter is I’ve been working for Mr Bloom the entire time. He has asked me to announce that he’s returning to NAW and he wants to take over the company.
The fans begin to chant “Alex Morgan.”
David Fraggle: Oh so you’re now going to chant for Alex Morgan? Well I’ve got more news for you Mr Bloom is giving the entire NAW roster a very special invitation to join him in taking over NAW. So if you’re like us and fed up with Alex Morgan then join us and we’ll give the whole company over to someone who will appreciate us more.
David Fraggle then gives the microphone back to Eric Ambrose as fans boo.
Eric Ambrose: Everything that he said is the truth Sanctuary works for Mr Bloom and not Alex Morgan.
Eric Ambrose then gives the microphone to Thomas Valin as fans continue to boo.
Thomas Valin: I’ve got one thing to say coming up is UWL Wrestlefest and The Lost Family are going to be in a NAW showcase match. We want everybody to know that on that night The Jeckels will suffer and it will be at Alex Morgan’s expense. Now hit our music.
As "Can't Kill Us” plays on the PA system Thomas Valin drops the microphone and then “The Very Good” David Fraggle leaves the ring followed by Eric Ambrose and then Thomas Valin. All three men walk to the back and disappear. The music stops playing and we go back to the announce booth once again.
Gould: Well it looks like Alex Morgan isn’t the only one making his NAW return…our old General Manager David Fraggle is back too!
Torres: Yeah and he wants total control of the NAW, this isn’t going to be good!
Gould: Well you may be right about that. For now, let’s get started with the action as our lovely ring announcer Rebecca Martin is ready to announce the first match of the night.
Jake Jeckel vs Matt Lane
Rebecca: Ladies and gentleman, this next contest is schedule for one fall.
The stage is then covered in smoke as “Peep Show” by Droch Fhoula plays in the arena.
Rebecca: Introducing first…being accompanied to the ring by his brother Jake and his sister Helena… from Transylvania & weighing 244 pounds…Jake Jeckel!!
Helena Jeckel emerges from the smoke, she signals and then her brothers Jack and Jake emerge from the smoke behind her. They walk to the ring and Helena walks the ring apron then hangs upside on the ropes, then enters the ring. Jake slides under the ropes and sits in the corner and Jack leans through the ropes and places his hands on his brother’s shoulders while Helena sits on the top rope. Their music comes to a stop and "Small Town Minds" by MxPx plays.
Rebecca: And his opponent…being accompanied to the ring by his manager Olivia Milton…from Green Bay, Wisconsin & weighing 225 pounds…Matt Lane!!
Matt Lane walks out from the back with Olivia in tow and he makes his way to the ring, slapping hands with the fans sitting next to the aisle way as he goes. Matt gets to ringside and climbs inside, then poses as the fans cheer and chant his name.
Gould: Well the fans here tonight certainly seem to support Matt Lane.
Torres: Yeah well it doesn’t look like the Jeckels are a part of Matt’s fan club though, Jake looks like he’s ready to tear his head off!
Gould: Well the winner of this match will move forward to the co-main event and have the chance to leave here tonight as the new NAW Horizon Champion.
Matt’s music comes to a stop and the referee signals for the bell to begin the match. Jake charges across the ring after Matt and starts to tear into him with punches. He works Matt backward against the ropes with rights and lefts, then goes to follow up with a huge roundhouse but at the last second Matt ducks around behind him and the punch misses. Jake spins around and now it’s Matt lighting Jake up with punches as the fans cheer their approval. After a few punches, Matt sends Jake running to the ropes with an irish whip and then on the rebound, he plants him on the canvas with a head scissor takedown. Jake is slow to get back up and Matt stays on him with a few kicks to the midsection. Jake catches Matt’s leg on his final kick however, and looks like he’s about to take Matt down with a dragon whip but Matt quickly leaps up with his other leg and kicks Jake in the face. Jake lets go of Matt and stumbles backward and Matt runs up to put Jake on his back again with a dropkick.
Gould: Well so far Jake Jeckel has not been able to find an answer for Matt Lane’s slick offense.
Matt lifts Jake to his feet and begins to set him up for a DDT but Jake reaches up and rakes his eyes. Matt releases his hold on Jake and Jake quickly grabs him and plants him on the canvas with a t-bone suplex.
Torres: And there’s his answer.
Jake stays down a bit and recovers, then he gets to his feet and begins to go to work on Matt. He kicks Matt in the ribs as he gets to his hands and knees and Matt flops across the ring onto his back. Jake walks up behind Matt as he’s getting up and slams him backward to the canvas with a Russian leg sweep. Jake with the cover.

Kick out!
Gould: Jake Jeckel trying to surprise Matt Lane with the early pin attempt.
Jake lifts Matt to his feet and sends him to the corner with a hard irish whip. Matt crashes into the turnbuckle and slumps to the canvas in a sitting position. Jake walks up and begins to choke Matt with his foot and the referee makes his count.
Gould: Well the tide is definitely in Jake Jeckel’s favor right now, he’s really trying to hurt Matt Lane!
Torres: Well to be fair Malcolm, hurting your opponent is the key to winning.
The referee gets to a four count and Jake breaks his choke hold on Matt. He then walks in and again uses his boot to choke him. The referee yells at Jake about the continued choke and Jake pushes him away and grabs the top rope to add even more pressure on Matt’s neck. The referee walks right back in and pushes Jake back, pointing at him and threatening to disqualify him. Jake releases his hold on Matt and walks out to the center of the ring to confront the referee.
Torres: I don’t think Jake appreciated the referee putting his hands on him.
Gould: Are you kidding me? Jake is the one who started it by punching him. He’s lucky he didn’t get DQed!
Torres: Well if the ref’s not careful here he’s going to get KOed by Jake Jeckel.
Jake and the referee exchange a few words and then Jake goes back to focus on Matt Lane, who is still slumped in the corner but has now had a small window to recover. Jake grabs Matt by the hair and lifts him to his feet but out of nowhere Matt grabs ahold of Jake’s head and leaps up to push off of the middle turnbuckle with his feet and flip Jake backward with a sunset flip. Matt holds on for the pin attempt and the referee makes the count.

Kick out!
Gould: Whoa, what a move by Matt Lane!
Matt scrambles to his feet but Jake is also quick to get back up and he clobbers Matt with a forearm shot to the head. Matt staggers backward dazed and Jake levels him with a closeline. Now it’s Jake with the pin attempt.

Kick out!
Gould: Close call!
Jake pulls Matt to his feet once more and begins to lift him up for a suplex but Matt slips out of Jake’s grasp and lands on the canvas behind him. Jake spins around and Matt springboard’s off of the ropes and catches him with a forearm to the head! Jake falls backward to a sitting position and the fans start to get loud as Matt springs back up and appears to be getting a burst of energy. He bounces off of the rope and comes running back to dropkick Jake right in the face.
Torres: Huh, what’s happening here?
Gould: It looks like Matt has found his second wind!
Matt climbs to the top turnbuckle as Jake slowly gets back to his feet. He shakes out the cobwebs and turns around just as Matt leaps off of the turnbuckle and takes him down with a diving cross body. Matt holds on and hooks Jake’s leg for the pin.

Kick out!
Torres: No! Only a 2!
Gould: Yeah but he’s got Jake Jeckel hurt!
Matt sees Jake getting up from canvas moving slowly and he then looks to the corner turnbuckle again. He grabs Jake and bodyslams him in the center of the ring and the fens start to get even louder as Matt begins his climb to the turnbuckle once more.
Gould: Matt Lane has the end in sight, he’s climbing up for that patented shooting star press of his!
Torres: Oh, this isn’t going to be good for Jake Jeckel!
Gould: Wait a second? What’s Helena doing?
Helena gets up on the ring apron across from where Matt Lane is climbing and starts to argue with the referee, distracting him from them match. Meanwhile Jake’s brother Jack hops up on the ring apron and pushes Matt Lane off of the turnbuckle, causing him to tumble face first to the canvas. Jack then quickly hops down to the floor just as the referee turns around and sees Matt Lane laid out and Jake slowly crawling towards the ropes.
Gould: You gotta be kidding me! Did you just see that?
Torres: What? No, I uh…I think I had something in my eye. What happened? Did Matt Lane slip and fall off the turnbuckle?
Jake uses the ropes and climbs back to his feet. Matt is also getting up but Jake wastes no time in letting him recover as he walks up and jabs him in the gut with a kick and then plants him headfirst on the canvas with his flowing snap DDT finisher, the Hokus Pokus. Jake drops down and covers Matt and the ref counts.

Jake Jeckel wins!
Rebecca: ladies and gentleman, here is your winner……Jake Jeckel!!
Gould: What a sickening display of teamwork by the Jeckels. It took all three of them to beat Matt Lane.
Torres: Well whatever Gould, Jake Jeckel is the one getting his hand raised right now and he’s moving on to wrestle in our co-main event for the Horizon Championship. Regardless of how it happened…he’s the winner here. He beat Matt Lane.
Jake Jeckel raises his arm in the air as he celebrates with his family. Matt Lane rolls out of the ring and returns to the back along with Olivia, both of them with disappointed looks on their faces. The scene then switches to the NAW General Manager’s office where we see a video monitor playing the live feed of the show.
NAW GM Office
The view zooms out and Tyson Phoenix is seen sitting at the desk packing up the last of this things in anticipation of Alex Morgan’s return on the next Meltdown. The view then zooms out more to show Theodore Justice standing on the other side of the desk watching the live feed.
Teddy: Damn, I probably should have been out there to stop that.
Tyson peeks up at the feed and sees Matt Lane leaving in disappointment with his manager. He shakes his head and goes back to what he was doing.
Tyson: Nah, it’s not your responsibility anymore after tonight anyway…just let it go. Morgan will be back in two weeks and then that meat head Mitch Thompson can play head babysitter around here again. You have bigger things on the horizon now than working security for the NAW. Pun intended of course.
Teddy gets a depressed look on his face as he continues to realize that it’s his last day as NAW’s Head of Security under Tyson’s employment. He looks down and shakes his head.
Teddy: Man, I was havin’ so much fun with it. It’s almost as if I was meant for it. And I was good at it too right? I mean for the past month ‘er so, security ‘round here has been tight as a whistle and we’ve had no major mishaps.
Tyson smiles again.
Tyson: Sure Teddy, you’ve done a fine job keeping things in order. Of course, there was the Jason Price interference in the Corey Bull versus Alaric Trudeau match a few weeks ago that led us to our main event tonight…but I don’t know if there’s much you could have done about that.
Teddy then nods his head in agreement.
Teddy: Yeah I mean heck, the guy came jumpin’ out of the crowd…how in the world was I supposed to stop that?
Tyson: You weren’t. Don’t sweat it, that’s ancient history for you now.
Teddy: Yeah but it doesn’t have to be. You know, with Alex Morgan comin’ back and with ole’ David Fraggle just declarin’ tonight that he’s gonna to try to keep his claim to the NAW…why don’t you stick around and stake your claim too? I’m sure one way or another you could pull some strings and remain the NAW’s General Manager no matter who won their little ownership scuffle.
Tyson laughs.
Tyson: I think I’m going to pass on that one. I mean, I do own stock in the NAW so if the NAW prospers then so do I…but there’s a lot of history between David Fraggle and Alex Morgan. It’s going to be much more than just a simple ownership scuffle. It always is. What’s coming is going to be a long drawn out war and everybody on the roster is going to have to choose a side whether they like it or not. You may want to keep that in mind after tonight. But me? As fun as that would be to stick around for that, I’ve got other business to attend to.
Teddy: Well I don’t really care who’s in charge after tonight, I have plans of my own and they involve wearin’ some NAW gold.
Tyson nods his head in agreement again.
Tyson: That’s right, you’re a professional wrestler first and foremost in the NAW...don’t ever forget that That’s why I gave you a going away present before I left…a chance at becoming the NAW Horizon Champion if you can win this next match here tonight. That’s my thanks to you for your loyalty and dedication under my management.
Teddy gets a confused look on his face.
Teddy: Huh? I thought you just needed a last minute replacement because Trent Brown was injured?
Tyson tries to maintain an innocent expression.
Tyson: What? No…I mean, yes we did need a replacement, but that’s beside the point. You’ve proven you’re as hard working and loyal as any wrestler on our roster Teddy so you’re the man I want to see win that Horizon Championship. The time is right now Teddy…so go out there and get it done!
Tyson smiles and stands up, extending his arm across the desk in a handshake and Teddy stands up and shakes Tyson’s hand. Tyson grabs his box of things and they both then head towards the door and Teddy turns to Tyson.
Teddy: So what will you do now?
Tyson tosses the keys to the office onto the desk. He then puts on his sunglasses and smiles with his classic menacing looking grin.
Tyson: Whatever the hell I want.
The two exit the room and the scene fades and switches back to ringside.
Table Match
John Blade vs Theodore Justice
“Till I Collapse” by Eminem starts to play
Rebecca: Ladies and gentleman, this next contest is scheduled for one fall. On his way to the ring first, from Hickory, NC…weighing 252 pounds…he is “Basic Thuganomics” John Blade!!
John Blade comes out with a microphone and his hands and he begins to talk trash about Theodore Justice as he walks to the ring.
Gould: John Blade trying to rile Teddy Justice up and get things heated up before the bell even rings.
Torres: Well I remember what happened when he tried this with Jason Price, he made John Blade eat his words…literally.
John gets to the ring and climbs inside, then he hands off the microphone to the referee. His music then comes to a stop and the sounds of the US Marine Band playing “Hail to the Chief” are heard through the PA system.
Rebecca: And introducing his opponent, from Washington DC….weighing 217 pounds….he is “The Prodigy” Theodore Justice!!
After a few seconds a couple of men dressed in secret service uniforms and sunglasses come walking out from the back with Teddy Justice marching out right behind them. The fans respond with mixed reactions as Teddy Justice struts towards the ring waving to everybody and handing out political style flyers that read “Vote for Teddy” on them.
Gould: Well you gotta give to Teddy Justice, he’s had quite a few ups and downs here in the NAW but somehow he never loses his spirit.
Torres: Yeah and these people here tonight love him for it too.
Teddy continues towards the ring, stopping to shakes hands and snap a couple of photos with some of the fans sitting at ringside, then he climbs inside the ring and once more turns to wave to the crowd. His music comes to a stop and the camera pans around to show the tables sitting around the ring in various positions.
Torres: Well here we go Gould, the tables are all in place and we’re ready to get this table match going.
Gould: Yeah I’m not sure if either of these two have been in a table match before.
Torres: Well it’s not rocket science, either way I’m sure they know how it works.
The bell sounds to start the match. The two start off in a grapple and Teddy quickly slips John into a headlock. John tries to shake him off with an irish whip but Teddy holds on and flips John to the mat with a hip toss.
Gould: Nice counter by Teddy Justice!
John quickly gets back to his feet and swings at Teddy with a roundhouse but Teddy ducks it and drops him again with a backdrop. Teddy hurries to the ropes and comes running back to land a jumping leg drop across John’s chest. Teddy then lifts John to his feet again but this time John is successful in shaking him off with an irish whip and sends Teddy running to the ropes. Teddy comes running back and John swings at him for a closeline but Teddy ducks underneath it and runs past him. Teddy then rebounds off the ropes behind John and comes charging back with a flying forearm to take John down to the mat again.
Gould: Teddy Justice is on fire! He really wants his chance to become the new Horizon Champion.
Torres: Well as much as I usually love disagreeing with you Gould, this time I can’t. Teddy means business!
Teddy rolls to the outside of the ring and picks up one of the tables that’s leaning against the barricade. He walks over and slides it into the ring, then he climbs in and begins to set it up in the center. Just as Teddy has finished unfolding the first set of table legs however, Blade has had a chance to recover and he comes walking up and flips Teddy Justice backward with a belly to back suplex. Teddy crashes to the mat face down and John Blade finishes setting the table up. He walks over and lifts Teddy to his feet, then walks him over towards the table.
Gould: Theodore Justice was setting that table up and looking to end this match, but now it’s John Blade who’s about to take advantage!
Torres: A great opportunity for Blade to end it right here, half of the work was already done for him!
John lifts Teddy up into a powerbomb position and takes a step towards the table but Teddy flips over John’s head and takes him down with a sunset flip to escape! John scrambles to his feet but Teddy is also up and he takes John down with a leg trip. Teddy quickly grabs John in a headlock as he’s getting back up but John lifts him up and aims for the table again.
Gould: John Blade’s got him up again!
Teddy reaches out with his leg and pushes the table over as he’s coming down and instead John slams him on the mat. Teddy holds his back in pain and John puts the boots to him in frustration.
Gould: Close one there as Teddy Justice was barely able to kick over that table to escape the match being called.
Torres: Yeah that sure was quick thinking on Teddy’s part but he still got tossed to the mat pretty hard. At least that table might have broken his fall a little bit.
John Blade lifts Teddy Justice to his feet and slams him to the mat again with a back suplex. Teddy is writing in pain holding his back but John refuses to let up. He lifts Teddy to his feet and whips him hard into the corner, causing Teddy to slam against the turnbuckle back first. Teddy staggers out of the corner and against the ropes near the edge of the ring and John then runs in for a closeline. Teddy ducks out of the way at the last second and pulls the top rope down and John comes up empty and flips out of the ring instead. Teddy recovers a little as John gets back to his feet on the outside of the ring. Teddy then uses the ropes to slingshot himself over the top rope and out of the ring to take John down with a cross body. The fans cheer their approval.
Gould: A devastating high risk move pays off for Teddy Justice!
Torres: Yeah but at what cost? Teddy hurt himself there too!
Both wrestlers stay down for a few seconds and then begin to show movement at the same time. Teddy Justice is the quicker of the two to recover and he grabs John Blade and whips him hard into the steel barricade. John falls to the floor and again Teddy lifts him to his feet. He lifts John up into a sidewalk slam position but instead of slamming him to the floor, Teddy runs towards the ring post and slams John’s back into it. John falls to the floor once more and Teddy starts to eye a folded up a table sitting nearby.
Gould: Teddy Justice is really taking it to Johnathan Blade!
Torres: And now he has his sights set on that table!
Teddy picks up the table and unfolds the legs, then sets it up next to the announcer’s table. John is slowly making his way back to his feet and Teddy grabs him and bounces his head off of the ring steps. John staggers backward into the table and Teddy grabs his legs and flips him up on top of it. Teddy then begins to climb onto the announcer’s table.
Gould: Uh oh, Teddy Justice has John Blade set up for the elimination and now he’s climbing onto our announce table. This doesn’t look good for John Blade!
Torres: It doesn’t look good for me either Gould, I think Teddy just stepped on my peanut butter sandwich!
Teddy climbs all the way up and turns around to face John, but John has recovered and slips off of the table. Teddy sees John on his feet and decides to jump anyway, trying for his patented double axe handle. John drops down to his knees to avoid the attack and counters with a hard roundhouse to Teddy stomach. Teddy flips to the floor and knocks over the table in the process.
Gould: Slick move by Johnathan Blade to avoid that signature double axe handle!
Torres: And now he has Teddy hurt!
John catches his breath a little bit and then rolls Teddy back inside the ring. Teddy grabs the ropes nad tries to pull himself to his feet but John snatches him and slams him to the mat with a side suplex. John then picks up the table that was knocked over in the ring earlier and folds the legs back up. He props it up in the corner and then lifts Teddy to his feet and pushes him up against it.
Gould: And here goes John Blade with another attempt at ending this match!
John runs in for a spear but Teddy lunges out and cracks him square in the face with a superkick! John staggers backward and teddy runs up to set him up for the Filibuster but John blocks the move and scoops teddy up into a death valley driver position.
Torres: He’s got Teddy up for the Razor Blade!
Gould: And he’s looking at that table in the corner!
John wastes no time and he takes a step towards the table propped up in the corner and tosses Teddy Justice through it head first. The referee calls for the bell and John Blade’s music plays.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentleman…here is your winner….John Blade!!
Gould: John Blade just tossed Teddy Justice through that table head first!
Torres: Yeah we might need some medics out here…and some tweezers. I’d imagine that Teddy Justice is going to have a few slivers after that.
John Blade raises his hand in celebration as Teddy rolls out of the ring and holds the back of his head with a look of disappointment in his eyes. He turns and heads towards the back as his fans show their support.
Gould: Well Teddy Justice has lost this match and his opportunity to wrestle for the NAW Horizon Championship later on tonight but he should still be proud of his performance.
Torres: Yeah he definitely gave John Blade a run for his money.
John continues to celebrate inside the ring as Rebirth goes to a promo for the next Meltdown.
Horizon Championship
Bohannon vs Jake Jeckel vs Johnathan Blade
The arena goes black and “Sin” by Nine Inch Nails plays.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentleman, this next triple threat contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the NAW Horizon Championship. Making his way to the ring first, from Transylvania…weighing 244 pounds…Jake Jeckel!!
A spotlight shines on the entryway and Jake is sitting on the stage. He stands up and walks to the ring slowly, the fans booing his every step.
Gould: Well it doesn’t matter whether you agree with how this guy got here or not…there’s no denying that he’s a huge threat in this match.
Torres: I have to agree Gould, I don’t think Johnathan Blade or Bohannon are willing to go as far as this guy to win that title belt. I think we’re looking at our next Horizon Champion right here.
Gould: Well you may be right Jim, but if Jake Jeckel wants the title he’s going to have to do it without the outside help of his brother and sister. After the events of his match against Matt Lane earlier tonight, the interim General Manager Tyson Phoenix has barred both of them from ringside in this match.
Jake gets to the ring and steps through the ropes. He walks over and sits in the corner to await his opponents. His music then comes to a stop and “Till I Collapse” by Eminem starts to play.
Rebecca: And introducing next, from Hickory, NC…weighing 252 pounds…he is “Basic Thuganomics” John Blade!!
John Blade comes out with a microphone and his hands and he begins to talk trash about Jake Jeckel and Bohannon as he walks to the ring.
Gould: And here he goes again trying to disrespect his opponents before the match starts.
Torres: Well if doing this gets under his opponent’s skin and throws them off of their game somehow...then I say have at it.
John gets to the ring and climbs inside, handing the microphone off to the referee. “Soldier” by North Mississippi All-stars then starts to play through the PA system.
Rebecca: And introducing next from Rock Fence Crossroads, Georgia….weighing 238 pounds….Bohannon!!
The fans cheer as Bohannon walks out from the back and makes his way towards the ring area.
Torres: Well here comes Bohannon…the man who was supposed to be facing Trent Brown here tonight before his unfortunate injury.
Gould: Yeah we sure wish Trent a speedy recovery and hope that he can get back to a hundred percent.
Bohannon removes his t-shirt and tosses it into the crowd before climbing inside the ring, then he walks to his corner to await the start of the match, gazing across at both Jake Jeckel and John Blade. The referee walks to the center of the ring and holds up the Horizon Championship title belt, the he hands it off to the timekeeper and signals for the bell to start the match. The match begins and all three men size on another up. Bohannon and Jeckel finally make the first move and they lock up in the center of the ring. Bohannon takes the advantage with a headlock and then sends Jeckel to the ropes with an irish whip. John Blade then steps in with the assist and he helps Bohannon drop Jeckel with a double closeline.
Gould: Well it looks like John Blade and Bohannon have decided to start things out on the same page.
Torres: Yeah big surprise there, being former tag team partners and all. We’ll see how long it lasts though, only one of them can leave here as the Horizon Champion.
Bohannon lifts Jeckel to his feet and along with Blade they land a double suplex. Jeckel bounces off of the mat and John Blade lifts him right back up and pushes him into the corner. John hits a few hard chops to Jeckel’s chest and then he fires him across the ring with an irish whip. Bohannon is right there to scoop Jeckel up and plant him on the mat with a t-bone suplex. Bohannon makes the cover.

John makes the save!
Gould: John Blade breaks up the pin!
Torres: Here we go, time to toss that partnership out the window now.
Bohannon gets to his feet and John doesn’t skip a beat as he greets him with a hard punch to stagger him. John follows up with a couple of more punches and then drops Bohannon with a knee lift. John grabs Bohannon as he’s getting up and sends him to the ropes with an irish whip, then catches him with a spine buster on the rebound. John with the cover.

Kick out by Bohannon!
Gould: Just barely a two count!
Torres: Yeah even my kid sister could have kicked out of that weak pin attempt. He didn’t even hook the leg!
Gould: I thought you were an only child?
Torres: I am, I was just making a point Gould. Try to follow along.
John starts to lift Bohannon to his feet but Bohannon fires back with some hard punches to the midsection to stun him. Bohannon then gets to his feet and jumps up to crack John in the face with a standing dropkick. Jake Jeckel is now recovered however, and just as Bohannon turns around Jeckel charges in to stop Bohannon’s rally with a big boot to the face. John recovers and gets to his feet, then along with Jake he grabs Bohannon and flips him to the mat with a double suplex. Bohannon holds his back in pain and again gets to his feet, but again Jake Jeckel and John Blade stalk him and send him to the canvas, this time with a stalling double suplex.
Gould: Wow, what a suplex!
Torres: Yeah they just held Bohannon up and smacked him on the mat like a pancake.
Bohannon is laid out and before John Blade can decide what to do next Jake Jeckel spins him around and clobbers him with a superkick! John goes down and Jeckel quickly covers Bohannon.

Kick out by Bohannon!
Gould: Just a two count! Jake Jeckel almost stole the victory right there!
Torres: What do you mean stole? This is a triple threat match Gould, every man for himself. John Blade should have never turned his back on Jake Jeckel.
Bohannon is slowly getting to his feet and Jake Jeckel stalks him. Jake runs up and cracks him with a running knee lift and Bohannon drops to the mat again. Jake lifts Bohannon to his feet and gets him in a reverse headlock, then he hits his signature running bulldog.

Save by John Blade!
Gould: John Blade is able to stop the count before the referee gets to three!
Torres: That was close!
John grabs Jake Jeckel as he’s getting up and drives a knee into his midsection. He then whips him hard to the corner and runs in afterward to crush Jeckel with a running shoulder block.
Jeckel staggers out of the corner and falls to the mat face first. Meanwhile behind John, Bohannon is recovered and sizing him up. John turns around and sees Bohannon and throws a roundhouse punch. Bohannon ducks it though and catches John from behind with his signature White Russian Legsweep.
Gould: Bohannon hit John Blade with that signature Russian legsweep! This might be over!
Torres: Yeah but Bohannon’s back has taken its toll in this match already. Can he cover John Blade in time?
Bohannon holds his back in pain for as couple of seconds and then crawls over to cover John Blade. The referee makes his count.

Kick out by John Blade!
Gould: No! John Blade able to kick out before the three count!
Torres: Another close call!
Jake Jeckel is back up and he blindsides Bohannon with a forearm to the back of the head. John is getting to his feet and Jeckel focuses on him with a flurry of punches. John tries to fight back with some punches of his own, but Jeckel lashes back and stuns him with an eye gouge. Jeckel then dives at John and takes him down with a jumping closeline. Bohannon is back up and he meets Jeckel in the center of the ring. The two exchange punches and the fans start to cheer their approval as each wrestler throws right and lefts trying to gain the upper hand. Bohannon…Jeckel…Bohannon…Jeckel…Bohannon…Jeckel…Bohannon…Bohannon… Bohannon…Bohannon…
Torres: It’s a slugfest in there!
Gould: But Bohannon is wearing him down!
Bohannon lands one last uppercut and sends Jeckel staggering backward into the corner. John Blade is recovered now and he walks up behind Bohannon and grabs him, then sends him flying backward with a belly to back suplex. Bohannon lands hard on the mat and John hurries to the ropes and comes back with his signature move, the five knuckle shuffle. John hits the move and covers Bohannon.

Gould: Again the save is made!
Jeckel kicks John in the head to break the pin up and John goes rolling across the mat. Jeckel lifts John to his feet and hoists him in the air to land a side suplex. Bohannon is back up and along with Jeckel they send John to the ropes with an irish whip and then slam him to the mat with a double sidewalk slam.
Jeckel raises his arms in the air and is about to turn on Bohannon with a double axe handle but Bohannon sees it coming and avoids it, then hits Jeckel with a spinning back kick to the face. Jeckel staggers backward and Bohannon runs up to hit him with his finisher, the Southern Justice.
Gould: The Southern Justice!

Gould: Bohannon wins!
Rebecca: Ladies and gentleman…here is your winner, and NEW NAW HORIZON CHAMPION……BOHANNON!!!!
Bohannon stands up and raises his hand in the air as the referee hands him the Horizon title belt. He looks at it with pride then raises it above his head with a smile on is face.
Torres: What a match that was Gould!
Gould: It sure was Jim, and now we have ourselves a new NAW Horizon Champion! Congratulations to Bohannon!
Bohannon continues to celebrate as both John Blade and Jake Jeckel exit the ring with looks of discontent on their faces. Bohannon continues to smile with the title belt held high when all of a sudden somebody comes jumping out of the crowd and slides into the ring behind Bohannon with a folded up chair in his hand.
Torres: Wait a second Gould…who’s this?
Gould: I have no clue, but it looks like he has his crosshairs locked on our new Horizon Champion!
The man stands behind Bohannon with the chair cocked and ready. Bohannon finally turns around and the man cracks him right in the face with the chair. Bohannon drops the title belt and falls to the mat, and John Blade and Jeckel both watch on from the outside of the ring. Jeckels just continues to leave but John Blade tries to climb inside and aid Bohannon. The man runs up and cracks him with the chair as well before he can even climb through the ropes and John falls off the apron and to the floor. The man then walk back over to Bohannon and laughs as he bends down and picks up the Horizon title belt from the canvas. He drops the chair and glares at Rebecca, the ring announcer, and points to the microphone in her hand. She reluctantly hands him the microphone and he raises the mic to his mouth.
Man: So this is your new Horizon Champion? This is the man who is supposed to walk around wearing this title bet?
He pauses to laugh as the fans boo.
Man: Well you know what…don’t get used to seeing him with it! You people want to know what the future of the Horizon Championship division looks like…well look no further. My name is ‘The Nighmare’ Nic Allen and I am the man who will bring prestige back to the NAW’s Horizon Championship!
Gould: Bring prestige back? What’s he talking about? Bohannon has just done that!
Torres: Well he won the match and the title belt anyway, although it’s looking like his celebration just got cut short.
Nic waits for the fans to stop booing and then he continues.
Nic Allen: This man here…your new champion…Bohannon…he’s a disgrace to the history of this title belt! So anybody here who’s a fan of this chump…I want to apologize to you in advance. Because now that I’m in the NAW I’m going to make your lives and his a living hell! Get ready to meet a real champion!
Nic tosses the microphone to the mat and then the Horizon Championship. Bohannon gets to his hands and knees and Nic stomps him in the middle of his back. Bohannon goes face first to the mat and Nic then raises his arms in the air triumphantly before exiting to the ring to a chorus of boos. He walks to the backstage and the feed then switches to a promo for UWL’s upcoming Wrestlefest event.
UWL Promo: Upcoming Event
NAW Championship
Alaric Trudeau(c) vs Corey Bull vs Jason Price
“Man that you Fear” by Marilyn Corey plays.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentlemen, this next triple threat match is scheduled for one fall and for the NAW Championship! Making his way to the ring first…from San Diego, California, weighing 210 pounds….Jason Price!!
The fans are booing as Jason Price walks out from the back and makes his way down the ramp towards the ring.
Gould: Here comes a guy who many thought would never see an NAW title match. Alaric Trudeau did a number on him back when he took the Horizon Championship from him and it almost looked as if he wouldn’t be able to bounce back.
Torres: Well, against all odds not only did Jason Price bounce back from that adversity, but he reinvented himself and became one of the biggest threats on the NAW roster. Now here he is tonight with the chance to walk out of here as the next NAW Champion.
The fans sitting at ringside have their arms outstretched so that Jason Price can slap their hands on his way to the ring, but Jason ignores them and stares straight ahead at the ring. He climbs inside and walks to his corner, then his music stops and “You‘re Going Down“ by Sick Puppies starts play out of the sound system. The lights start to dim around the stage as a little smoke trails across it.
Rebecca: And introducing next from The Great Northwoods….weighing 385 pounds….he is “The Hatebringer” Corey Bull!!
Corey Bull walks out onto the entrance ramp with his logger’s chain in his hand and the crowd erupts with cheers for the villainous hero. Corey Bull walks to the ring with his eyes focused on the square circle. The fans cheer on the monster as he climbs up and into the ring.
Gould: And speaking of threats Jim, here comes probably the biggest one in the NAW right now…Corey Bull.
Torres: Yeah Corey Bull has certainly made his presence felt in the NAW.
Corey stands in the center of the ring and raises his fist with the chain into the air as camera flashes light up the arena. Explosions go off on the ramp in the shape of a mushroom cloud as Bull looks out over the crowd and the lights come up. The chain is dumped over the side and he takes off the prison shirt and tosses it into the crowd, getting ready for a fight. His music then comes to a stop and the lights darken as Breaking Benjamin's "Polyamorous" plays. As the song intro begins, torches light from either side of the entrance way and brighten the curtain.
Rebecca: And introducing next, from New Orleans, Louisiana…weighing 205 pounds, he is the NAW Champion…“The Crescent City Saint’ Alaric Trudeau!!
Alaric Trudeau's face is illuminated and the look of evil content frightens the audience. Alaric casually strolls through the curtain, before marching down the aisle with the NAW Championship fitted around his waist. The crowd provides a mixed reaction, which does not go unnoticed by Alaric. He stops at ringside for just a brief moment to absorb this change. Alaric walks up the stairs and climbs to the top turnbuckle, removing his title belt and raising it high in the air, before dropping feet first into the ring and looking across at Bull and Price with a cocky smile. Alaric hands the title belt off to the referee and his music comes to a stop.
Gould: Alaric Trudeau looking as cool and confident as he always does.
Torres: Well that’s one of the reasons he’s wearing that NAW Championship title belt right now Gould. Alaric doesn’t buckle under pressure and he doesn’t get intimidated by a good fight. If you want to talk about somebody who’s made some positive changes since signing their NAW contract than you have to include this man. After he got his bearings in the NAW he set his sights on the NAW Championship and once he did…he didn’t stop until he got it.
The bell rings and the match gets underway. Jason Price makes the first move and goes after Alaric. They explode into a flurry of punches, taking turns getting the upper hand, but then Alaric manages to block a punch from Jason and send him staggering towards Corey Bull with a stiff uppercut. Bull scoops Jason up and slams him to the mat with bodyslam. Alaric lifts Jason to his feet and whips him hard into the corner and then Corey runs in to crush him with a closeline. Jason slumps to the mat and Corey walks out to the center of the ring and then runs in again and nails Jason with a knee to the face. Jason tries to get to his feet but Corey stomps on him as he tries to get up. Alaric stands back and watches on with a smile.
Gould: Corey Bull is really trying to soften up Jason Price.
Torres: Yeah and the champion is just sitting back and enjoying the show!
Corey grabs Jason pulls him to the center of the ring to land a belly to belly suplex. Alaric then decides to intervene and steps in to stun Corey with an uppercut. Alaric hits a few more punches to stagger Corey backward a couple of steps and then slingshots off of the ropes nearby to take Corey down with a springboard closeline.
Gould: Great move by the champion!
Torres: Indeed!
Jason is on his feet and Alaric notices him and tosses him into the center of the ring again with a suplex. He then starts to lift Jason back to his feet, but Jason delivers a couple of shots to the midsection, followed by a knee lift to drop Alaric. Jason catches his breath a bit as Alaric slowly sits back up, then he runs to the ropes and comes back with a dropkick to Alaric’s face. Alaric rolls around on the mat holding his face and Jason grabs Corey as he’s getting up and plants him headfirst with a DDT.
Gould: And now it’s the challenger Jason Price cleaning house!
Jason with the cover on Corey.

Corey tosses Jason across the ring from the momentum of the kick out. Jason scrambles back to his feet as does Corey. Alaric is also recovered and the three once again square off. Corey moves in first this time and he bullies Jason backward into the corner. Alaric moves in to assist but Corey doesn’t trust him and he cracks Alaric with a stiff hook to send him reeling backward.
Torres: Corey Bull doesn’t trust Alaric?
Gould: Well would you trust Alaric standing behind you inside the ring?
Torres: Good point.
Alaric shakes the punch off and comes charging back at Corey. Corey gets a boot up however and nails Alaric in the gut as he runs in. Corey then grabs Alaric and slams him on the mat with a gutwrench powerbomb. Corey with the cover over Alaric.

Torres: Jason Price breaks up the pin.
Gould: We could have had a new champion right there!
Torres: Well don’t get ahead of yourself there Gould, it was still barely a two count.
Jason boots Corey in the head to send him rolling off of Alaric. Jason then lifts Alaric to his feet and nails him with a couple forearm shots to the back before slamming him to the mat with a bodyslam. Jason bounces off the ropes and comes back with a jumping knee drop across Alaric’s chest. Jason then begins to lock Alaric into a boston crab.
Gould: Jason’s going for a submission! He wants to make the champion tap out!
Torres: Yeah but here comes Corey Bull!
Jason begins to lock the move in, but before he can fully lock in the hold, Corey Bull comes charging in and sends him stumbling off of Alaric with a thrusting throat uppercut. Corey then follows up with a devastating running closeline and sends Jason into a backflip and puts him face first on the mat. Corey rolls Jason over onto his back and covers him.

Torres: That’s right, Alaric’s not letting that title go anywhere!
Alaric waits as Corey is slowly getting back up. Jason is also beginning to get up and instead Alaric decides to go after him. Jason lashes out and rake’s Alaric’s eyes however, and then drops Alaric with a facebuster. Jason runs over and dropkicks Corey in the shin just as he makes it to his feet and sends the big man back down to the canvas. Jason then grabs Alaric as he’s getting up and tosses him to the ropes with an irish whip. Jason goes for a closeline on the rebound but Alaric ducks underneath it and runs past him and comes rebounding back with a flying closeline of his own to send Jason to the mat.
Alaric catches his breath a bit and then lifts Jason back up and irish whips him into the corner. Alaric runs in after with jumping body splash but Jason ducks out of the way and Alaric slams into the turnbuckle. Alaric stumbles out of the corner holding his chest and Jason rolls him up backwards into a school boy pin. The ref counts.

Kick out by Alaric!
Jason price slaps the mat in anger as he thought for sure he had the three count. He gets in the referee’s face and argues a bit but the ref shakes his head and maintains his stance, holding up two fingers.
Gould: Close call there!
Torres: Yeah, Jason Price really wants that NAW Championship!
Jason lifts Alaric to his feet and start to pick him up for a suplex but Alaric wiggles free and lands on the mat next to him. Alaric then quickly cracks Jason with a spinning back hand. Jason staggers backward and Alaric follows up with a dropkick. Jason goes down and Alaric takes a few seconds to catch his breath before Corey Bull is back up and stalking him. Corey spins Alaric around and throws a haymaker but Alaric ducks it and drops Corey with an implant DDT. Corey is slow to get back up and Alaric slingshots off of the ropes and takes him down with a springboard closeline. Alaric covers Corey and the ref counts.

Alaric lifts Jaon to his feet again and hits him with a series of knees to the midsection, then he tosses his to the mat with a hip toss. Jason starts to get up but now Corey Bull is also back up and now starts to work with Alaric to double team Jason Price. They grab Jason and toss him to the ropes, then they catch him on the rebound and slam him to them at to the mat with a double spinebuster.
Torres: Alaric Trudeau and Corey Bull are doing a number on Jason Price right now!
Gould: Yeah they sure are. Jason Price better figure out some way to fight back!
Alaric lifts Jason to his feet again and leads him over to the corner. He pushes him up against the turnbuckle and nails him with a couple of knees to the midsection, then he walks out to the center of the ring and runs in to crush him with a running knee lift. Jason slumps to the mat and Alaric lifts him back up and fires him across the ring towards Corey with an irish whip. Corey ducks down for a back body drop but Jason stops as he gets to him and kicks him hard in the face. Corey staggers backward and Jason follows with a superkick to send Corey falling backward into the corner. Alaric rushes in to stop Jason’s rally but Jason sees Alaric coming and delivers a hard kick to his midsection, followed by a piledriver!

He plants Corey in the middle of the ring with a back drop, then he climbs to the second turnbuckle as Corey starts to get up. Jason leaps off for a double axe handle but Corey catches him with a bear hug in mid-air and slams him hard to the mat with a belly to belly suplex. Gould: Almost a three count! Jason Price showing his determination and he dives in to stop it at two!
Torres: Yeah I gotta admit Gould, I thought it was over right there.
Corey stands up and starts to exchange punches with Jason Price. Corey works him backward into the corner and tries for a running double knee attack but Price dusks out of the way and Corey crashes into the turnbuckle. Corey staggers out to the center of the ring and Jason greets him with a kick to the midsection. Gould: He’s going for the Enforcer!
Torres: If he hits this we could have a new champion!

Corey Bull dives in to make the save but he’s too late…Alaric wins!
Torres: He got the three count!
Gould: Alaric Trudeau retains the NAW Championship!
The bell sounds and Alaric Trudeau’s music plays. The referee hands Alaric the NAW Championship title belt and raises his hand in victory.
Rebecca: Ladies and gentleman…here is your winner…AND STILL THE NAW CHAMPION….ALARIC TRUDEAU!!!
Alaric holds the title belt high above his head for a bit longer with a smile on his face and then he lowers it and grips it tight to his chest as he glares back across the ring at the two men who just tries to take it from him tonight.
Gould: It wasn’t easy, but Alaric Trudeau has managed to leave here with his title reign still intact.
Torres: Well it’s going to take a special kind of superstar to take that NAW Championship from him. Perhaps one day that superstar will be either Jason Price or Corey Bull…but that day wasn’t today.
Alaric rolls out of the ring and begins to head towards the backstage area, making sure to keep eye contact with both Jason Price and Corey bull as he walks backward up the aisleway. The camera then zooms in on Alaric as he reaches the top of the entryway and once more raises the NAW Championship above his head. Alaric Trudeau has a huge smile on his face as Rebirth goes off the air.

Torres: Oh he just drove Bohannon’s face fist into the mat!
Gould: This this could be it!
Jeckel crawls over and covers bohannon and the ref counts

Bohannon with the cover.

Kick out!
Gould: No! Alaric still has life in him!
Torres: He’s not going to go down easy, he’s proven that time and time again!
Jason and Corey are both getting up at the same time and they meet in the center of the ring. They lock up but Jason quickly rakes Corey’s eyes to gain control. He plants Corey in the middle of the ring with a back drop, then he climbs to the second turnbuckle as Corey starts to get up.
Jason barely gets Corey legs off of the ground and Corey wiggles his legs back and forth to throw Jason off balance.
