Handler Name: Pete
How You Found Us: Best efeds list/Google search
Wrestler Name: Wally Stravinsky
Nicknames: Owl Man (gimmick)
Billed From: His mother’s basement
Billed Height & Weight: Way too much
Picture Base/Poser: - Random Owl Man cosplayer (thanks BDC!)
Alignment: Wants to be face, but gets booed for being a dork
Theme Music: Theme from the 1960s Batman show
Entrance Style: The Batman theme begins to play, and after a few seconds Owl Man comes out, with his cape covering his face. As the song hits the first "OWL MAN!", pyro explodes on either side of the platform, and Owl Man throws the cape behind his back and opens his arms wide, soaking in the love. He then strikes a flying pose and pretends to soar down to the ring. He tries to hop onto the apron and slingshot over the ropes, but either falls back down or gets tangled in the ropes and falls awkwardly forward. Afterwards, he tries to act dignified, as the crowd laughs.
Wrestling gear: A home-made version of the costume worn by DC Comics's Owl Man. He removes the cape to wrestle, but not the mask.
Style: Comedy/big man
Move Set:
Punches
Belly flop
Corner shoulder splash
Rollup attempts
Bearhug
Headbutt
Signature Moves:(Up to 3)
The Swoop (Springboard Belly Flop, off the ropes or turnbuckle).
Finishers:(Up to 2)
Suspect Arrest (STF/STFU)
The Peck (poke to the eyes, along the lines of Santino's Cobra. Like the Cobra, it will rarely work.)
Backstory: Wally Stravinsky was just your average, overweight, basement-dwelling, Cheetos-scarfing IWC member and comic book nerd – that is, until the day he used his cosplaying skills to become the masked avenger known as OWL MAN! Taking cues from his favourite comic book hero, but taking to the wrestling ring instead of the cold, dark streets, Wally hopes his superheroing prowess will help get him noticed by his crush, Tammy.
Catchphrases: It's Owl Time!
Owlsome!
You just got Owled!
Winning pose: Arms wide, imitating open wings. Then wraps himself in his cape again before exiting the ring.
Other observations: He sets up both The Swoop and The Peck by spreading his 'wings' and hooting like an owl.
NOTE: Feel free to use this one as a jobber. That's the entire point, I want him to make a fool of himself and be laughed at. Should he win, make it by accident, or via a roll-up or something. Think Santino Marella/Eugene.
