Another one joins the fray...
Alice sat there musing over the most recent turn of events at Meltdown. It was no secret that she knew there was unfinished business which lay between the Legacy Champion and the Horizon Champion and how over the past handful of shows it had escalated to physical altercations and many words from Bohannon but none from the Bull himself. With one hand under her chin and the other drumming it's slender fingers on her bare thigh, Alice pondered a whole raft of scenarios which could arise from this.
She was sat there alone in her usual base of training - the beat up, run down gym which she often used after hours so she wouldn't be disturbed. With the place to herself, she was enjoying some liberties, notably being able to walk round in her hot pants and a mid-riff cut top with her hair secured back in a clip. Already soaked with sweat, Alice had finished her usual physical routine and had opted to head for a cool down session. With towel in hand, the Dirty Little Thing walked herself towards the Sauna and slipped in. Pouring some water on the coals to steam it up real good, Alice leant back and let out a relaxed yawn before pondering out loud to herself.
Alice shakes her head and lets out a short laugh.
Letting out a sigh, Alice actually shows a slight spark of emotion when thinking about the Big Bad Wolf who recently had his services to NAW terminated. Perhaps he was her one true ally and friend in this place in the back, perhaps he was more? Sadly, as much as the rumour mill works it's magic, only two will ever know the truth, one is gone, the other is sat there alone pondering what could have been.
Perhaps seeming dejected, Alice pours more water onto the coals to fill the room with steam, as if she is hiding herself from someone out of shame. As the room fills up and Alice can barely see in front of her, she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.
Running her hands through her hair after unclipping it, Alice stretches out and leans back, arms outstretched along the wooden bench behind her. Tilting her head back, resting it on the towel behind her like a pillow, the Dirty Little Thing continues to analyse her next opponent.
Alice begins to speak with a little more resolve in her voice now as the steam begins to fade again.
As Alice speaks, she says the words with what could be considered a hint of pleasure behind them, clearly enjoying the misfortunes of the man who thought flaunting how much he has was a better way to approach the fight compared to showing how much you can do.
Alice stands up and takes her towel with her as she exits the sauna. Walking towards the plunge pool next to it, she takes a deep breath and lowers herself in. The cold shock wakes her up a little from the pleasurable sauna, the jolt of near freezing temperatures kicks her senses into gear and makes her more alert.
Pulling herself out of the pool and drying herself down with the towel, Alice stretches out and looks round the gym again.
Walking towards a punch bag, Alice runs her hand across it as she circles round it.
Smirking, Alice walks towards her gear which sits across from the punch bag.
Alice reaches into her bag and as expected, she pulls out a clip. Flicking the top bullet out with her thumb, she lets it drop into her hand before she wraps her fingers around it. Placing the clip back in her bag, she brings her fist up and opens it, displaying the small projectile.
Alice holds the bullet up, admiring the "Bo" carved into it before she kisses it. Pulling out an envelope from her bag, she holds it up and opens the top, placing the bullet in the envelope. On the front of it, the word "HATEBRINGER" is scrawled across it.
Alice laughs as she places the envelope back into her gear bag, intent on passing this to the Legacy Champion at the next opportunity she can.
"So Bohannon is next to enter the fray against the Hatebringer..."

Pouring some water on the coals to steam it up real good, Alice leant back and let out a relaxed yawn before pondering out loud to herself.
"So Bohannon wishes to involve himself in this game myself and Corey are playing... A man with a deep seated resentment finally pushed to the edge by what he perceives to be a total lack of respect for someone of his calibre and pedigree... I understand the motives, but the mannerisms..."
Alice shakes her head and lets out a short laugh.
"It is almost like he wants to inflict pain on himself... Fenrir got caught up in the battle between myself and Corey... And sadly, the Viking was taken to Vahalla before his time..."
"It shames me to know that I was not the one to personally lead him to the hall like I had promised... I hate breaking a promise, but alas, maybe the fates had other plans for Fenrir, plans which did not involve myself..."
Perhaps seeming dejected, Alice pours more water onto the coals to fill the room with steam, as if she is hiding herself from someone out of shame. As the room fills up and Alice can barely see in front of her, she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.
"But, the fight goes on... There is always another battlefield to find and another warrior to face... And that warrior has quite a name for himself... A second generation technical wizard with a good all round game to back it up... A man of action and words... A man who reminds me the likes of them... He may not have the eloquence of the wolf, or the fury of the bull, but he has the burning desire... That flame inside which burns bright... As bright as the reflection of the light off the title which rests round his waist...."
Running her hands through her hair after unclipping it, Alice stretches out and leans back, arms outstretched along the wooden bench behind her. Tilting her head back, resting it on the towel behind her like a pillow, the Dirty Little Thing continues to analyse her next opponent.
"Bohannon.... Horizon Champion.... The holder of the very belt I scoffed at when I set out to prove a point to Erin that she could not beat me... How ironic it is that I throw shame at a less prestigious title and I soon find myself in line to challenge for it... Fate does work in mysterious ways... Should my opinion change? Should I suddenly respect and value the prestige and honour Bohannon has brought to the Horizon title whilst it has been under his care? perhaps... Will I? No..."
Alice begins to speak with a little more resolve in her voice now as the steam begins to fade again.
"I still stand my ground and insist the only prize I am after is the taste of victory over the Hatebringer and the chance to take his legacy and make mine from it... But as I said to Erin when I spoke about the belt which I am now in line to challenge for... It is a flat surface, something on which to build on... Something which may lay the foundations for a long lasting legacy... Something which will have me remembered for all time.... Do I care for the increase in fortune and exposure this belt will bring should I surpass Bohannon? Possibly, but materialism and image has never been a focus of mine... Only the will to test myself and to fight... And that is how I see this opportunity handed my way by the woman who has done so much for me here... Jason Price said I was foolish to put my trust in Alice White if I wanted to get ahead, he said I was naive, stupid, childish, immature, unwise... He said it was a mistake to go to the lengths I have done to impress Alice White... But if that is the case... Why am I rewarded with another title shot whilst you are starting to lose ground on everything you have worked so hard to set up? Why is the house of cards you so precariously positioned falling down at an alarming rate?"
As Alice speaks, she says the words with what could be considered a hint of pleasure behind them, clearly enjoying the misfortunes of the man who thought flaunting how much he has was a better way to approach the fight compared to showing how much you can do.
"Obviously, the materialism shown that you can't do very much anymore Jason... And this, this is my time to shine once again..."
"Bohannon... Is it wise for you to pursue this grudge in such a manner? I understand the need for making a statement, I understand the need for backing up the talk with 'the walk', I understand your mindset and what you wish to gain, because really, neither of us are much different to one another... We both wish to defeat Corey Bull and be recognised for just who we are... We both know how to get things done.. Sadly, the way we act is so different..."
Pulling herself out of the pool and drying herself down with the towel, Alice stretches out and looks round the gym again.
"I act with honour, I am up front about my intentions... I don't strike a man when he least expects it... The blow you never see coming always hurts the most and what you have done to the Bull, how you have humiliated him all out of spite... I understand the need for closure but the methods are wrong... So very, very wrong...."
Walking towards a punch bag, Alice runs her hand across it as she circles round it.
"I woke the sleeping giant Bohannon.... I brought the beast from hell into our world, therefore whatever destruction it makes is all down to me, the harbinger of death and so far, only I have managed to hold the beast back and slow its advance... Many have tried, all have failed... Only I have stalled the inevitable... By getting in this cataclysmic battle, you have left yourself wide open for any and everything what comes your way... But there is an out... There is a way I can level the playing field for you Bohannon..."
Smirking, Alice walks towards her gear which sits across from the punch bag.
"All I have to do is lighten your load... You will be stepping into the match I should be in if I were to cry foul and break character, but I am not one to compromise my ideals... I lost, I sent a message, I clawed one back and now I move on... Do you think you have what it takes to carry the weight of the Horizon on you whilst so many are reaching out for it, trying to pull it down to their level? Do you think with this burden you can take on the Hatebringer with everything you can muster? I don't think you can Bohannon..."
Alice reaches into her bag and as expected, she pulls out a clip. Flicking the top bullet out with her thumb, she lets it drop into her hand before she wraps her fingers around it. Placing the clip back in her bag, she brings her fist up and opens it, displaying the small projectile.
"You know what to expect by now Bohannon, there is a bullet with your name on it... You know you are now in my sights, but not through the need to strip you of your burden, oh no... More to save you from going up against that which you stand no chance against... Come Meltdown, I will personally take you to Valhalla as Fenrir would put it, you have been a valiant champion and deserve the praise for all eternity... But no matter how good you are, I don't think you can handle the Bull... No matter how much you fire yourself up, how many times you strike him from behind... You just cannot do it... If you cannot stand there face to face with him as I have and fight it equally, you don't deserve to fight him dirty... And I'm going to make sure of that..."
Alice holds the bullet up, admiring the "Bo" carved into it before she kisses it. Pulling out an envelope from her bag, she holds it up and opens the top, placing the bullet in the envelope. On the front of it, the word "HATEBRINGER" is scrawled across it.
"I'm not going to be pulling the trigger on this one though Bohannon... I'm simply removing the insurance policy you have around your waist... When you step up to face the Hatebringer, you have to bring your all and ensure you have nothing to fall back on... Allow me to take away the net so when you fall, you at least fall with some pride..."
Alice laughs as she places the envelope back into her gear bag, intent on passing this to the Legacy Champion at the next opportunity she can.
