[Bohannon is sitting at his desk. There is a small lamp on, and he leans, relaxed on the desk]
Bohannon: “Havoc, you didn't disappoint. You are rarely at a loss for words...and, as usual, you said a lot.”
Bohannon reaches over and turns off the lamp, plunging the room into darkness. He continues to speak, his tone unchanging.
Bohannon: “You have a lot to say about darkness. The power of darkness, and how you are back to being something more than you were. The truth is, Havoc, you're not. You are the same wrestler you were. That's not a bad thing, Havoc. Darkness doesn't make us anything we're not. All it does is help us to hide the things we don't like about ourselves. It makes it easier to conceal our flaws. But Havoc, those blemishes are still there.”
[Bohannon turns the lamp on again.]
Bohannon: “The weaknesses you had as a wrestler before you went away...the ones Noah Hanson exploited are still there. Now, can I exploit them? Time will tell. But make no mistake, they are there. Weren't you quoting Johnny Cash awhile back? How does the one line go? What's done in the dark will be brought to the light? When we meet, Havoc, that's what is going to happen. Your flaws will be exposed, and put on display under the bright lights in the center of that ring.”
[Bohannon gets up and begins to walk across the room. He flips a switch and the bright overhead lights all come on.]
Bohannon: “I'll be honest with you, Havoc. You laid out a great many threats, but they seemed hollow. They seemed desperate. Like you weren't so much trying to convince me that you were going to kick my ass. It seemed like you were trying to convince yourself. Do you believe it Havoc? Do you honestly believe, deep down, that you can beat me? You don't have to answer that. That question will answer itself soon enough.”
[Bohannon turns to leave, but then stops.]
Bohannon: “Havoc, you are wrong about something else. You claimed that you didn't inspire anyone. You didn't change anyone. You're wrong. You re-lit a fire in me. You reminded me just how important that Horizon title is. You painfully reminded me of the price that has to be paid to be the Horizon Champion. Maybe you didn't notice, but after my loss to you, I set forth down that long, hard road once again. It's been steeper than I remember. But I've followed it none the less. And here we are again. One of us is going to continue down that long road towards the title that we both want. The other is destined to wander in the darkness a bit longer. You see, Havoc, I was in that darkness. I fought my way back. Nobody, not even you, is going to drive me back there. I'll see you real soon.”
[Bohannon turns and walks through the door, flipping the light off and plunging the room into darkness once again.]
