No distraction
The scene opens and we see the NAW Legacy Champion standing in front of a window. We can tell he has on blue jeans and a shirt. We can also tell that the NWA Legacy Championship belt is around his waist. He begins to talk as he is looking out the window.
Jason Price: You wanted to take my attention away from the match. You wanted to make sure that you got the pin on the NAW Legacy Champion. You got what you wanted. You used those tramps to take my belt and my attention away from the match. As you can see, I did gain it back. Oh, sure I had to clean it and take off the shit that was on it. You heard right Jason Phoenix, I said shit that was on it. I am referring to your name that whoever placed it on the NAW Legacy Championship Belt. I do have to give you credit for creating that little distraction. You see Jason, that is as close as your name will ever be placed on this belt.
Jason Price turns around and we that the NAW Legacy Championship Belt had been cleaned and is shiny once again. The name plate on the belt reads Jason Price.
Jason Price: Edric, made a great decision in allowing the fans to decide what kind of match we should have. You see Jason, I have faced you twice and have lost to you twice. Both times you had to use distraction to get the win. You know what that means to me? It means that you know deep down inside that you can’t beat me without having distraction. I have what you want and the question is can you take it away from me? Now I would say yes if our match is a regular match on February 17, 2017 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The only reason why I said yes, is because then you could find some way of causing distraction to take the title away. Maybe using those tramps again.
Jason shrugs his shoulders and moves towards his desk. He placed his hands on the back of his chair. He turns and look towards the door and then he turns back around.
Jason Price: One would have to think, that the fans are getting fed up of all the distractions that is giving you the win. Maybe the fans would like to see if you could handle yourself against the NWA Legacy Champion. So, they want to see a Hell in a Cell Match. When I saw the choice that the fans made, I had a big smile on my face. You see, I don’t care what the fans think of me. I don’t care if I hurt their feelings. But I must say Thank You to the fans for picking the Hell in a Cell Match. This kind of match is dangerous. A lot could go wrong in this kind of match. There was a couple of thoughts that have entered my mind when I saw it was a Hell in a Cell Match.
Jason walks around his desk and is standing in front of the desk. He sits on the corner of the desk.
Jason Price: This is not my first Hell in a Cell Match. I am sure it’s not your first either. I have been thinking how I can repay you for what you did or what you had done to the NAW Legacy Championship belt. Since you wanted to defaced it, well I will make sure that your face is slammed into that cell many times. Not only will I make sure that the tramps that you hang around with will not be able to identify you, but I am going to make sure that you will not be able to walk out of that cage. Your whole body is going to feel that cold cage.
Jason Price stands up and walks towards the door. He stops and turns back around and looks at the window.
Jason Price: Another thought that I had is there is no way in Hell that anyone can cause any distraction. Once we enter that cage and the door is closed and locked behind us, it will only be you and me. The rest of Power Trip will not be able to distract me from giving you a beating that you deserve. Jason Phoenix now you are going to have to prove that you can out wrestle me without using distraction. It always seemed like when I was just about close to pinning your shoulders is when the distraction happens, but at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, you are not going to have that distraction to help you out of a jam.
Just then a figure comes into the room. The cameraman tries to pan the camera over to see who had walked in but Jason Price stood in front of the camera blocking the view of the figure that had entered the room.
Jason Price: Please have a seat.
Jason points to a chair that was in front of his desk. We can’t see the figure so we must assume that the person went and sit down. Jason whisper something in the cameraman ear and the cameraman jerks the camera as he shakes his head up and down in agreement with what Jason Price had whispered in his ear. Jason walks behind his desk and pulls his chair out and sit down and pulls himself forward.
Figure: Thank you for taking the time to meet with me Jason. I know you were busy. Are you sure that no one will be able to see me?
Jason Price: I made it real clear to the cameraman that if he wanted to know what is going on here, that he would not show your face on TV. This cameraman stands behind his word, so you can trust him.
The figure pulls some paperwork out and slides it on the desk and it comes to a rest right in front of Jason. Jason picks up the paperwork and begins to read it. He goes thru several pages and a smile appears on his face. He goes thru several more pages before he places the paperwork back down on his desk but this time the paperwork is faced down. He knew the cameraman would try to pan in on the paperwork and the cameraman tried, but was to slow.
Jason Price: That is twice as much as I am currently making with NAW.
Figure: You are well worth that and much more. That amount could even double more. We decided to start with that amount to entice you to accept.
Jason Price: I can tell you this much, you caught my attention. But you do know that I still have a contract with NAW and I am the current NAW Legacy Champion.
The figure holds up his right hand and stops Jason. Jason stops speaking and looks at the figure.
Figure: We don’t care if you still have a contract with NAW. We are willing to buyout your contract from NAW. Now we also know how you think. If you walk away from St. Valentine’s Day Massacre as still the NAW Legacy Champion, that it will make my job harder. So make it easy for both of us and just lay down and let Jason Phoenix become the next NAW Legacy Champion. I want to protect you from that Hell in a cage match.
Jason Price: With the amount that you are offering, I can see why you would want me to just “lay down”, but if you knew me like you said you did, well you would know that I don’t “lay down” for any match. Jason Phoenix is not walking away from St. Valentine’s Day Massacre with the NAW Legacy Championship Belt and if that makes your job harder, then you must work harder.
Figure: I will be at St. Valentine’s Massacre and after the Main Event, we will meet once again. I was hoping to convince you to take the easy way out. But I knew that you are the type of person the believes in working hard for everything. Until after the Main Event.
The figure gets up and exits the room. Jason watches as the figure exits the room and the scene fades out.
