The scene opens up, and WBSW interviewer Barry Lincoln is seen standing next to a motorcycle that’s sitting in the front spot inside the parking garage of WBSW headquarters. He has a microphone in his hand, and he appears to be waiting on somebody as he watches towards the building exit. A door is then heard opening from off camera and the view slowly pans to the left to show a man walking out of the door and towards the parking spot. The man is on the larger side, with long black hair pulled back into a ponytail, and he’s dressed in riding boots, worn jeans, and an unzipped leather jacket with a black and orange T-shirt underneath. As the view zooms in, the man is revealed to be WBSW newcomer Gunner Hughes. He has a set of DVD’s in his hand, and as he gets near the bike Barry takes a few steps towards him and smiles as he offers a handshake. Gunner reluctantly accepts, gripping Barry’s hand enough to make him visibly wince.
Barry: “That’s quite a grip you have there. Gunner Hughes I presume? My name is Barry Lincoln and I work for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Wrestling.”
After a few more seconds, Gunner releases Barry’s hand and continues walking toward his bike. Barry shakes it off and follows him.
Gunner: “Good to meet you Barry….is there something I can help you with?”
Barry: “Well I understand you just had a meeting with the WBSW management about your match assignment for this week’s WBSW Live, and you’re facing Mitch Thompson, a man who has recently been dealt the task of putting the Fraggles in check. I was just wondering what your thoughts were going into this match, being that it’s your WBSW debut.”
Gunner thinks about the comment for a moment as he places the set of DVD’s in the saddlebag on his motorcycle. A confused look then washes over his face as he glances back at Barry.
Gunner: “Did you just say the Fraggles?”
Barry smiles at Gunner, already knowing the reference to the TV show he’s making in his head.
Barry: “I can assure you that the Fraggles in the WBSW are not stuffed characters from a kids television show. They are Judas Fraggle and his manager David Fraggle, and they have become a serious threat in the WBSW. In fact, they took out your upcoming opponent Mitch Thompson and his team of security guards last week on Live.”
Gunner laughs and shakes his head as he continues to close and adjust the saddlebags on the back of his bike. He then turns towards Barry, an amused look on his face as he responds.
Gunner: “Well then maybe I owe them a thank you…..no wonder I haven’t seen Mitch all week. In any case, I don’t know a whole lot about Mitch Thompson, but maybe he just isn’t cut out for security.”
Barry: “Well he’s been working as head of the WBSW security team and he was hired by Alex Morgan himself so he must have some credentials.”
A cocky smile forms across Gunner’s lips.
Gunner: “Well then maybe Alex Morgan knows something that we don’t. In any case, this week on Live we’ll see just how good Mitch Thompson really is. That is, if he even wakes up by then. This might have been a bad move on the boss’s part. Last week Mitch gets his ass handed to him by the Fraggles, and this week I serve it to him again. I sure hope Mitch signed up for some good medical insurance when he signed his WBSW contract.”
He gets on his bike and removes the helmet from the handlebars, and Barry continues with his questions.
Barry: “Have you had a chance to scout Mitch Thompson at all and see him inside the ring?”
Gunner reaches back and pats the saddlebags.
Gunner: “I’ve got the DVD’s there from the first three shows that management just gave me. It’s not a whole lot, but I think it will be enough for me to formulate a pretty good game plan against him. By the sounds of it though, the Muppets already started on him last week, so all I have to do is just finish the job.”
Barry: “Um…you mean the Fraggles?”
Gunner: “Yeah, isn’t that what I said?”
Gunner puts his helmet on and fires up the motorcycle, and Barry takes a step back as Gunner kicks up the kickstand and backs the bike out of the parking space. He then turns his head towards Barry one last time.
Gunner: “You know, it really doesn’t really matter who’s flexing their muscles right now in the WBSW, because that’s all about to change. One thing that these chumps on the roster are going to have to learn the hard way is that if they want to hold any power in this company…..that power is going to come with a price. And starting this week on WBSW Live....”
He lets out a menacing laugh.
Gunner: “Gunner Hughes is coming to collect!”
With that Gunner reaches up and slides his face shield shut. He then hits the throttle, pops the clutch, and squeals out of the parking lot, leaving Barry Lincoln standing in the parking garage as the scene fades.
