Earlier tonight we saw Adam Stryker barge in to Alex Morgan's office. Morgan just looked up, almost nervous, but more confused.
Morgan
....Come in?
Stryker
What is your problem, you ass? I told you, me and Fraggle vs those Mexican faggots. What is this four corners shit?
Morgan
It's a business decision. Imagine how classic this math could be if it worked out how I have it planned.
Stryker
And over the previous ten shows, how often has something worked according to your so called "plan" Alex? More often than not, you manage to fuck it up, and congrats, you did it yet again.
Morgan
Is all you came in here for to nitpick and criticize my management?
Stryker
To tell you you're an idiot.
Morgan
And that. How could I forget?
Stryker
I already warned the goon. I'm not taking part in this match. It can only end poorly, and I will have no part in it.
Morgan stares up at him.
Morgan
Won't participate at all? I mean, we have four teams, and it's all so relevant. How can it not be perfect?
Stryker
Fuck you. I'm done with this bogusness.
Stryker leaves and passes a shorter man and a huge man, the short one with a t-shirt that reads "I'm fuck-tastic!" and they stare each other down for a second. Stryker just shakes his head, as though this justifies his disappointment as the other guys go into the office.
We then hear "Now We Run" by Steve Vai and the crowd is erupting for tonight's show! We are gradually getting huge, and it seems as though we have a great college student fan base, and they Villanova is no exception apparently! These kids love us, and just when we get pumped, they give us a reason!
The match opens quickly with Tucker taking some swings at Luca, but they all get ducked, dodged and avoided. He turns around and lands a swift Roundhouse, knocking Tucker onto his ass. He runs back to the ropes and knees Tucker in the face, putting him flat, then he wastes no time covering, but only gets a one count!
He lifts Tucker up and goes for another Roundhouse, but this one is ducked by Tucker, who lands a huge paw to the back of Luca's head. Luca goes down, but rolls over, and as Tucker comes near, he throws a leg out, hitting the big man in the midsection, then pulls him down with a Headscissors-style maneuver. He throws a kick to the back of Tucker's head, making sure he stays down for a few seconds while he hops up onto the second rope. As Tucker gets to his feet, Luca executes an awesome Spinning Heel Kick, and covers again, but only for a two count! He gets up and looks at Mark Lansing, who assures him it was only a two. Luca nods and pulls Tucker to his feet again.
Tucker is ready though, and as Luca gets him up, Tucker starts throwing repeated punches to Luca's chest. He forces Luca into the turnbuckle, then backs up. He holds an arm up and brings a knee into Luca's chest with some heavy force, then does it a few more times. Luca drops to the mat, and just as Tucker starts going for some stomps, Luca rolls out of the ring.
He stares up at Tucker, who just continues to taunt. You can tell that Tucker is getting wore out though, he's very winded, where Luca, who's quite possibly the most fit guy on the roster, is just trying to figure out how he's gonna get some slams on the big man without pulling a muscle.
Luca climbs up the ring steps, not dumb enough to slide in, and he hops up onto the top rope, coming down with a Forearm to Tucker's head which takes the big man down again! Luca lands a Springboard Moonsault from the middle rope, covers, but still only gets a two count! Getting back up, he takes a few steps back and waits, as Tucker gets to his feet, facing away from Luca. As he gets up, Luca hits his finishing Superkick, which he calls the Snapshot! Tucker face plants into the mat, and it's lights out for the fat man! Luca covers and picks up the three to a huge crowd reaction!
He gets to his feet and poses for all the fans to see as he takes in the cheers. Lansing holds his arm up high, and I see an awesome future from Luca in WBSW.
The entrances for the next match were pretty cool. Tony Edison came down to the ring in his signature gear, and gave out a few of his t-shirts. After he slides into the ring, Steven Gold comes out, and gets a pretty good reaction from the fans. He had a hell of a battle with Gunner Hughes at our last show, and I'm sure he's hoping to have just slightly better luck this week against Edison.
The bell rings, match is officiated by Eddie Higgins. Tony goes for a quick attacking method, but Steven Gold is very agile and manages to keep up. Reluctantly, Tony locks up with Gold, which shows why he didn't want to, as Gold gets an easy advantage and shoves Edison to the mat. Edison hops right back up though and runs the ropes, coming back and attempting a jumping Forearm Smash, but Gold sidesteps it. When Tony turns around he is met with a boot to the head, putting him right on his ass. Tony gets back up and he charges at Gold, jumping up and landing an amazing Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors, and that puts him right back into this matchup! Both men get right to their feet, and Tony runs to the ropes, comes back with a Forearm Smash, and when Gold goes down, Tony locks in a headlock on him, hoping to wear him down. Gold gets right to his feet though, Tony still with the headlock applied. He slides back behind Gold and locks it into a Sleeper, and Gold falls backward onto Edison, forcing him to break the hold!
As the two men get to their feet, Tony tries to whip Gold into the ropes, but is instead pulled by Gold in toward him for a huge Clothesline, and he follows up with a cover, only getting a one count, almost a two.
Gold gets to his feet, pulling Edison up, and he whips Edison into the turnbuckle. He grabs Edison, and climbs up onto the second rope. He goes to throw the repeated punches, but Edison slips out underneath and slides out of harm's way to the outside, a very slick move by our special guest. Stupidly though, he slides right back in, just in time to receive several repeated stomps from the big man! After a few of these and Edison holding onto the ropes, Higgins gets in between to get Gold to back off a little.
Edison works his way up to his feet and Gold charges, but Tony drops down, holding the top rope and Gold spills out onto the floor outside. Tony hops onto the top rope when Gold gets up, and lands a huge Missile Dropkick, sending Gold into the guardrail, and he looks pretty hurt. Edison ready to take advantage of this possibility, and he hops up on the apron, and gives Gold another Dropkick to the chest!
He rolls Gold into the ring, not even bothering to move him further, and covers him, but after Higgins gets to two, Gold shows great ring awareness by getting a leg on the bottom rope. Edison climbs to his feet, and Gold very slowly does the same. Gold goes to charge, and he lands a huge running boot to Edison's head! He covers now, picking up a two before Tony kicks out.
The two men get to their feet now, in their respective corners, trying to strategize their next move. Edison goes first, diving and wrapping around Gold's leg, pulling him to the mat and locking in an Ankle Lock of sorts. Gold gets to a rope pretty easily, and I think Tony knew that, but just hoped to get a little hurt in on the leg. He gets back up and drops a quick knee to the same leg of Gold. Gold rolls over and kicks Tony in the midsection, then one to the face, sending him a few feet back. He gets up, and Tony goes for him, but when Edison locks the legs for a Dragonrana, but Gold manages to force him to stay based and throws him to the mat with an awesome Powerbomb! He covers Edison, but only gets a two! Gold gets up and whips Tony into the ropes now, and when Tony comes running back he is greeted with a Sidewalk Slam, and another cover, but still only a two count!
Lansing checks to make sure Edison can keep it up and Tony wastes no time reassuring him. The two men are both back on their feet and circling around. Tony stupidly goes into a lock up, and this ends with Gold landing a few shoves into a turnbuckle, ending this series with an elbow to Tony's chest that puts him on the mat. Gold takes a few steps back and strikes the pose telling us that he's about to try putting Tony out of his misery. Tony uses the ropes to get to his feet, and just as Gold gets ready to hit Tony with the Kickoff, he rolls out of danger and out of the ring!
The two men stare each other down, Tony out here, and Gold keeps calling him to come back into the ring. Tony takes a few seconds to collect himself, and Lansing gets the count going. Tony is doing a lap around the ring, walking, and as Lansing gets to six, Tony hops up onto the apron. Gold goes after him, and Tony ducks in, butting Gold in the chest with his head, then with a Springboard into a Sunset Flip, he goes for the win, but only gets a two!
Edison rolls back from Gold when he kicks out, and as Gold gets up, this is the prime moment to attack and he lands a knee to Gold's face before he gets all the way up! Edison poses for the adoring crowd who is absolutely erupting for his every move tonight, and instinctively, as Gold gets up, Tony jumps into the air, flipping backward, and cutting Gold's story short with that brutal Pele Kick! I think everyone is aware that this match is pretty much at its end, and I think Gold may have a busted lip, and Edison heads to the nearest turnbuckle, hopping to the top rope and holding his pose with his arms up, the normal "pump up the crowd" motion. He dives off, going for his finisher, that Corkscrew Moonsault he named the "End Game", but there it is! Gold just got a foot up in time and just drove it into the spine of the anti-gravity machine!
Tony is arching his back real bad now, in the most intense pain I've seen him in since...well ever... Gold gets up, seeing the damage done, and knowing this as his prime chance to get this match over with. He waits in the corner, and as he sits, Edison fights to get to his feet, and there is that kick, the Kickoff, and Edison has to be outcold now, and Gold covers! 1.....2.....3!
Gold gets to his feet as his music plays, and the crowd does cheer, but they aren't as pleased as one would hope. In a good show of sportsmanship though, he helps Tony to his feet, and the two men shake hands in the middle of the ring. This was one helluva match everyone, and both men deserve the awesome ovation this Villanova crowd is giving them.
Gunner Hughes, being our champ, got a huge ovation when he took to the ring before this match. The crowd loves him, and that's not all that unexpected, you know? Erik Loomis also got a pretty good reaction to the fans. Seems like a lot of our college base watched UX on AMC.
The match started pretty slow paced, as one would imagine with two big men in the ring. They locked up in the center of the ring, and after about ten seconds of shoving back and forth, it ended in a stalemate. They lock up again a few seconds later, and Loomis winds up on top. He whips Gunner to the ropes, and Gunner comes back, receiving a hip toss that puts him on the mat. Loomis wastes no time though, instantly going behind Gunner as he sits up and attempting to lock in a chin lock, which Gunner counters, with an awkward attempt at a Snapmare, which gives him the extra couple seconds needed to get to his feet.
Both of them get up and Gunner gets in quicker this time, setting up a Vertical Suplex, and as they both get up again, he throws in another one. He pulls Loomis up to his feet and whips him to the ropes, and Loomis comes back and Gunner drops him with a rotating Spinebuster. He covers and gets a one count, then gets up, almost expecting that result. As Erik gets up, Gunner moves in to grab him for a front face lock, but Erik turns it into a Northern Lights Suplex, in a great display of resilience. The two are back on their feet right away, but Gunner is slightly quicker to the punch and he whips Erik into the ropes. Erik comes back and ducks a Big Boot attempt, and on his run back, Gunner and him hit each other with Clotheslines pretty much simultaneously!
Both of them take a few seconds to get up, but Erik is up first and he starts stomping to keep Gunner down. Gunner, being the absolute beast that he is, manages to get to his feet, and puts a huge boot into Loomis' ribs, then a knee to the face. He drops knees to the ribs and midsection of Loomis then, picking him back up and we see an Irish Whip into the turnbuckle. He runs at Loomis and puts a knee to the chest, which causes Loomis to drop, now sitting in the corner. Gunner takes this as an opportunity and charges, kicking Loomis right in the side of the head, and now I think Loomis is completely out. He is dragged to the middle of the ring, where Gunner covers, but he only gets a two!
Gunner gets up, maybe expecting Loomis to be easier to beat than this. Loomis very slowly gets to his feet and is met with a huge knee to the head when he's on his feet. Gunner lays a few stomps on him, then covers again, still only getting a two count. He picks Loomis up again and drops him with a nice little slam, but this is followed by a huge Elbow Drop, then Gunner gets up and doesn't drop only one more elbow, but two! He looks at Loomis, lying on the mat in pain, and comes closer, now landing a nice Leg Drop, and another cover, but still only a two!
Gunner pulls Loomis to his feet, holds his shoulders to keep him up, then continues working on those ribs, knee after knee, until Loomis catches his leg and just lays Gunner out with a huge punch! A shot heard throughout the whole place just happened, and the crowd loves it. As Gunner gets up, Loomis waits, holding his ribs. The damage is done, and Gunner might have done some big damage to the ribs of Loomis. Loomis starts jabbing at Gunner now, showing off that boxing background as he hits with a few lefts, then flattens the champ with a huge right hook, causing the crowd to erupt for a few seconds. He covers Gunner, but it isn't quite enough to put him away for the night as he is just barely able to get a shoulder off the mat before the hand goes down for a three count.
Both of them are down for a couple seconds before either one moves, but Gunner winds up on his feet quite quickly in comparison. He picks up Loomis and tosses him into the ropes, hitting him with a hard elbow. Loomis goes down, and gunner gets into position. Just as Loomis is to his feet, Gunner gets at him and lands his finisher, Buckshot, and Loomis is done. Gunner picks up the sing along three count and the win!
Gunner is handed his belt back as he holds his arm up in victory, and in another great display of sportsmanship, he helps Loomis up as the two shake hands as a show of respect. As Gunner heads up the ramp, holding his arms high on the stage, he is suddenly sent to the ground!
Standing where Gunner was, Steven Gold is seen, holding a microphone in one hand, and his fabled OWA InterGlobal Championship belt in the other, held high for the entire crowd to see. Why is he even allowed to bring it into the arena? It holds no merit here, and he can cause quite the destruction with it, as we can clearly see.
Gold
Now that's what one would call a cheap shot, you worthless street punk. And you know this fake title you keep talking about? Well it's not so fake when it's caving in the back of your skull, is it? Do try to stay
out of jail until I can kick your ass and take that WBSW belt off your sorry butt though, and have a nice night.
Gold looks at the crowd, receiving a chorus of boos, and he just looks at them all and grins. He drops the microphone and mouths to the downed Gunner, "Congrats, by the way."

"Flash" Luca Flores vs John Tucker
