It's been a long time coming but their friendship never parted although the two had separated ways to pursue Singles success, it was now time for the two to team up again. The once destructive team of Mid-South Syndicate is returning. Yes, that's right, Bohannon and Tim Stone will make their return to the ring at Meltdown 81 in Denver, Colorado. The newly named co-owner of North Atlantic Wrestling has found it fitting to place the team back together and who would their opponents be? A team that the duo had faced before in The Jeckels. Now as I said, this isn't the first time that they've met. See, you play it smart. You don't just go to Vegas, you go there with an insurance policy.
This tag team match isn't just a match but see, when these Four met before, it was both personal and business. It was business because this is what you do as professional wrestlers, as professional athletes, as North Atlantic Wrestling competitors. It became personal when the family of Mid-South Syndicate began cracking until eventually breaking. While it didn't break the team's friendship, it did take away their ability to be a cohesive unit. Now with the new co-owner taking the reigns, it's going to be another fun ride as destruction will soon follow.
Before we get to the Denver Coliseum, we find Bohannon and Tim Stone catching up as this would be a long time coming. Again, as I said before, they came into North Atlantic Wrestling as a team and then were split up to start their own journey as Singles competitors and now they're being put back together. While sitting in his luxury suite and waiting for the company's live Meltdown event, Tim also waited for a phone call or maybe a face-to-face meeting with his friend, business partner, and tag team partner Bohannon. As he was waiting, he invited a NAW camera man along for the journey. The camera began recording as Tim began to speak.
"When I started this thing, I made a bargain with a guy in a dark suit. I made a business move. Nothing personal, it was just business. Along the way, I aligned myself with those who had the same business ventures I did and together we were successful. Together we built a company and made all of us a very lot of money. When we began too big for that company, we tore that company down. It was the NAW that was next on our list. Mid-South Syndicate proved that we couldn't be stopped but when we came here, we didn't realize what was waiting. It looked to be a good move because there was chaos but through that, we were taken out because strange forces combined together for a goal to remove us from the situation.
So we went our own way never forgetting though what we been through. It's been a long road and it took some time but eventually our goal happened without us doing anything. Now with a new head, the machine that is NAW is moving forward and that new head is placing a team together again. That team is Mid-South Syndicate and we always will be. We're a brotherhood...a family and always will be. So as a family, we handle things together and together we're going to handle old business of both Jack and Jake Jeckel".
With his head down and his arms rested on his knees, his face looks to the ground as he punches his fist into his hand.
"Listen up boys, we been down this road before. You actually think that this time will happen like before? That's where you're wrong. (He looks up at the camera). You two are going to find out that tonight, you're playing by our rules now. There's no having backup or thinking because you know who's in charge that you have the right to do whatever you want and get away with it. No, that's what we do. That's Mid-South Syndicate, we don't care who's in charge because in the end, we're in charge. Tonight, we're in charge and we're going to but this Jeckyl & Hyde story to rest and teach you two that Mid-South Syndicate is back".
Reaching over by his feet to where his suitcase is laying open, he reaches down and pulls out a Black arm band with the logo "M.S.S." and slides in on his arm. Patting the band and then turning it, positioning it so the logos show outward, Tim stands to his feet and puts on his long coat that was draped across the couch he was sitting on. He takes a deep breathe and walks towards the door. Looking back at the camera he says...
"Havoc was first and now you can add two more to the list".
He opens the door and exits the room as the camera feed ends.
Tim arrived to the arena dressed to compete as he walked down the hallway to the locker room where Bohannon was waiting inside. Walking up to him, they shook hands as Tim quickly began talking about their match.
"So Mid-South Syndicate is back. Man, I have to say it's good to be back in the ring with you. It's been too long but you been doing good for yourself. I know you're ready for tonight so I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I know the trouble we had with these boys before but I don't give a damn what they try, I'm ready for anything. I'm sick of these games so hey, if this new guys wants us back together, let's show him he made a good investment because you know I'm all about business".
Bohannon nods his head as Tim continues.
"If you're ready, I'm ready so let's go do this".
Walking to the door and about to head into the hallway, he looks back at Bohannon who was walking towards him and Tim turns and steps outside of the door. As he sees NAW officials and other personnel walking past, he hears radio commotion talking about the opening of the night about to begin.
"Camera A is go....Camera B is set....cue announcers....Camera C ready....cue ringside...stand-by Rebecca".
Walking through the hall, Tim notices Barry Lincoln who motions for him to come over and talk with him but Tim keeps walking. With a focused look on his face, he says as sort of a mumble...
"Business first".
Reaching the entrance curtain, a NAW backstage attendant stands guard at the curtain so the appropriate individuals walk through on the way to the ring. As he walks through the curtain and through a small corridor, Tim's heart is beating as he hears the sold out crowd getting pumped up for the night to begin. Both Tim and Bohannon were now standing at the Gorilla position as they were watching a monitor of the opening NAW video. When the video ended, the crowd's loud reaction was heard while Tim was looking down at the ground and getting himself ready by swaying side-to-side. The sound heard next was the ring bell and then Rebecca Martin begin to introduce the first match of the night.
