The scene opens to an abandoned warehouse somewhere in Dublin ,Ireland .
The building looks like it hasn't been touched in years . Its been left to decay and die slowly into a shell of its former self. While it has nothing of useful value it does look like the perfect place to house illegal activities. Not a sound or light is heard or seen in the place till heavy footsteps break the silence. With those footsteps a beam of light follows. Slowly the light beams up to show Trent Brown with a flashlight in hand. Trent shines the light around the old building with a smile. Trent's dressed in a black coat , jeans, and his gray flat cap he's almost never seen without. His heavy black boots echo across the floor as he finds a wooden chair , pulls it in front of the camera , and sits down as he speaks.
Trent:This place may not look like much but it means a lot to meslf. This is where a cocky young kid learned to be a man. I had me arse handed to me many times here but I've also kicked a lot of arses here too. By the time I was 20, I had quite a list of wins under me name. I won enough money and saved enough money from these fights and various jobs to be able to make me dream of being a wrestler come true.
Trent looks around the vast warehouse once again. The place added the character he needed to become the fighter he is. He looks back towards the camera and speaks once more .
Trent: So I make me long awaited Pay Per View debut at Spring Breakdown and for a championship no less. The only downside is that there are three other men and its in a cage . No matter I'm not afraid . These obstacles are just a stepping stone in proving meslf as a fighter and a top contender in NAW. First off we have Santa Claus . I'll have to hand it to ya, you came up with something original. Still its a gimmick I don't take very seriously. I mean come on Santa Claus a fighter? I guess most of these people still believe in a make belive fat, jolly elf that flies around with reindeer.
Trent lets a light chuckle escape from his lips as he thinks of this quote super Santa . He can't even begin to think of what this guy had to be smoking when he came up with this idea. Not to worrie Trent can take care of him. Trent's smug smirk comes across his face as he's comes up with a witty little remark as he speaks on.
Trent:So Legend has it that when kids stop believing in Santa Claus he loses some of his power . Well be prepared to lose all you got cause once I'm done with you no one will believe in anything you say. You're fiction and I'm reality.
Trent again smirks as he switches subjects and proceeds to address his other opponents in a somewhat cocky manner. His smug persona makes you want to slap him but his size and power make you back away. Trent looks into the camera once again as he tries to get into his opponent's minds.
Trent: So Sebastian Jankowski You say you're not afraid of me and you call me a fool? You foolish foolish man. You may say you've changed but you're still the same dumb son of a b*tch as you were before. You know they say the polish are stupid . I would normally find that to be bullsh*t but in you're cause it might be true.
Trent finds what he said funny as he knows he's going to get to the unstable Sebastian who just can't seem to focus. Trent's good at getting in the mind's of others. He's done it for years. As they say if you get into the mind of you're opponent you got that match half won. Trent now address his last opponent in the match. Trent has seen the man's promo is beyond pissed and proceeds to verbally destroy him.
Trent:Patrick Sparkman are you out of you're damn mind? You never ever insult an Irishman's country and you did just that by saying I came from the potato fields. You know what we do to hicks like you over here? We beat the sh*t out of them and leave them for dead. You're the reason why some of the world hates America and especially the south.
Trent gives an especially smirky grin as he knows what he's about to say is going to really get under the skin of Sparkman and he can't wait to say it after what he's said about Ireland and Kate.
Trent: So you say you represent your people? Does that mean you where a white sheet over you're head and marry you're sister?
Trent begins to laugh as Trent knows how the southerners hate the KKK and insest references when comes to describing them. He hates to use those things as he finds the south a nice place but in this case it proves useful. Trent regains his composure as he speaks to Sparkman one again.
Trent: You and the people like you are why the world has such a bad image of the southern part of America. While its further from the truth as Kate is somewhat from that south and her family are wonderful people. It don't feel good when you're character and where you're from is insulted does it? You're going to pay for the comments you made when I rip you limb from limb.
Trent's blue gray eyes are of full fury as he address all his opponents one last time.
Trent: I've been in worst fights in the back alleys of me home country then facing the three of you. I thrive off competition and challenges. This is my kind of match. I'm going to take you're faces and grind them into the steel of the cage . I do what I have to win the match. I won't give it a second thought. Its killed or be killed and I'm not going to be the one who's laying in a pool of me own blood. Good luck cause you're going to need it.
Trent turns off the flashlight and the screen goes black as we hear Trent's footsteps echo as he walks away.
Scene fades.
Seems Kate and I picked up where we left off. Its like we never parted . We haven't been together long but I know this time I better make it forever. I never thought I would find meslf in a jewelry store like this but here I am. I want to find the perfect ring.
I'm completely out of my element and not exactly sure how to look for the right ring when and older lady that works there I guess takes pity on me and helps me .
Saleswomen: Can I help you?
I smile and explain to the lady what I'm looking for.
Trent: I have no clue what I'm doing but I want to get a engagement ring for my girl. Something special . Something different.
The lady smiles and shows me ring after ring and I have yet to find the right one. After what seems like forever at last she shows me what I know is the right ring.
I smile as I look at the ring and tell the lady that this is the one.
Trent: I like this one. Its different yet beautiful just like my girl. This one's perfect.
The lady smiles and goes to ring it up . She then asks me how I want to pay for it.
Saleswomen: Now you can make payments on this .
I smile cause for the first
time in me life I don't have to make payments on something.
Trent: Thanks but I can pay it in full right now. I don't have the cash on me but you can use my card.
The lady looks surprised that I can afford it as most can't even make payments on a ring like this. Still Kate's worth more to me than anything. She rings it up and I walk out with the ring . I never thought I be about to ask any women to marry me and never wanted to but Kate's worth changing for.
Scene fades.
