The scene opens to and old prison outside of Dublin ,Ireland.
The place has creepy written all over it and one has to wonder would anyone be around a place like this late alone a camera crew but the mystery is soon revealed when we see Trent Brown standing there . Trent has one jeans a gray hoodie , black jacket and a black flat cap. Trent looks somewhat Solemn as he beings to speaks.
Trent: Hell , many can only Imagine what its like. Those who lived here knew it everyday. Welcome to Kilmainham Gaol . One of the most notorious prisons in Ireland's history. Torture ,despair and squalor were their lives. Those who did evil or bad deeds deemed by those who judge them soon lived in fear much as the fear they inflicted on others .
The scene fades in on another part of the prison. The camera makes a point to focus on the small cells that the prisoners were kept in as Trent stands in front of them.
Trent: Much like me match at Breakdown these people were caged in. Also like me match very few walked out of this place unscathed . The title of the match is XScape but do we really ever escape a match of this caliber ? Part of us is left behind. We risk it all for a championship.
Trent walks into one of the opens cells , sits down in a chair that looks to be worn and falling apart and starts speaking directly to his opponents.
Trent: Santa Claus , You have yet to Reply to any of us. What's the matter ? Did reality finally sink into your delusional mind? Did you see who you were facing and tremble with fear? You can't turn back now. You're fate is sealed much like all of us are now. You'll be the first to go down I fear. You know nothing of the world of doom and sorrow. Those who don't know what's to come fear the unknown.
Trent gets up and walks towards the small window of the cell that casts so little light into the dark and dismal room. As he looks out he speaks to another one of his opponents.
Trent: Sebastian Jankowski, So I misinterpreted what you said. Big da*n deal. You may have not said I was fool but you thought it . I know you did. We all think others are fools till we meet them face to face.
Trent walks out of the cell and towards the rails overlooking the open area of the prison below. He runs his large hand across steel making a light scraping noise that is unsettling before speaking again .
Trent: So I'm crazy? Maybe so but I'm just crazy enough to obliterate all in my path to win. Are crazy enough to be locked inside a cage with three hungry men ready to dismantle you ? Are ready to face the unknown? Time will tell if you are. You trying to shove your boot up me arse is like the court jester trying to face the village giant. In other words Its not going to happen.
The scene fades back in on the open area of the prison where the doors open to let the prisoners out for exercise . Trent is standing in the middle of the floor as he speaks to his last opponent.
Trent: Patrick Sparkman, You're smug ego is going to get you in the end. If you listened right I said Kate was somewhat from the south not actually from it you meathead! My remarks apparently worked cause you spoke on them . My mission is accomplished thus far in getting into your head. If you think your remarks about Kate's ring is going to get to me your a dumber hick then I thought . So I haven't dissolved my tunnel vision in order to win? I've never had tunnel vision. I know what I want and I go after it. Not many men can say that. Most say one thing but do another. I've never said what I can't back up. I fear nothing in this world. The only thing I fear is the Good Lord above as most do. I may be an asshole but I do have somewhat of a moral compass. I will however still put you into a billion pieces .
Trent walks closer to where to door opens as he now speaks to all his opponents in closing.
Trent: I may have a moral compass but I'm not afraid to dace with the devil. None you have known the life I've lived . I can handel the consequences of a match such as this . The steel cage is the devil's playground. We're going to hell and only one of us is coming back. That one man will be me and I will be taking the TV title with me.
Trent walks out of the view of the camera leaving it to focus on the open area. He leaves only the very eerie echo of his footsteps behind.
scene fades.
So I bought the ring and now its time to have the talk with Kate's dad. I mean we can go and get married anyway but its the gesture that counts.
I make the drive from Kate's house to her parent's home and knock on the door. After a moment her mom answers the door .
Trent: Hi Mrs Brock. Its nice to see you again. Is uh Kate's dad home ?
She smiles as I think she knows what's going on and talks.
Katherine's Mom: Yes he's home . I'll go get him.
After what seems like forever both here parents are there staring at me. While I'm bigger then her dad there's nothing more intimating the asking the girl you want marry father's for her hand. I clear my throat talk again.
Trent: Mr Brock is there someplace we can talk privately?
We nodes his head and we walk out to their porch and sit down. Her dad's the first to speak.
Katherine's Dad : So what's on you're mind ?
I take a deep breath and do my best to explain to him how I feel.
Trent: I love your daughter very much. I'm lucky to have had the chance to get her back after the fool I made of myself last time. I know we haven't be together very long but I don't want to lose her again. So I'm asking for your daughter's hand in marriage.
I can see he's thinking on the matter and I do my best to get him to say yes by telling him what I plan to do to take care of Kate.
Trent: I know something like this is never easy for a father but I promise you She'll never want for anything and I'll never hurt her. I'm going to love her for the rest of my life and even beyond that.
He hears me out and after what seems like forever he gives me an answer.
Katherine's Dad : As you said its never easy for a father to give away his little girl but you're a good guy . She's always loved you very much. I think you'll do fine by her. So I give you my blessing.
relieved and exited I get up and shake his hand and thank him.
Trent: Thank you so much Sir. This means a lot. I promise this won't be something you regret.
I walk off the porch and back to my car . I look back at Kate's parents and see they both are smiling. I just hope Kate says yes .
